  7. well he is a looney but I am on gluten for the testing, although people can't see me for three weeks.... I don't think i can pull this off....
  8. I only did the gluten free diet for a weekish before they decided to do testing and now I need to eat gluten. Just be prepared. Don't do it the big week of ANYTHING! pick a calm week... other than that I think it depends on which symptoms you have when you are glutened!?! and how well you can handle them and go on with daily life!
  9. My Mom eqauted it to having a friend with cancer. You just don't want to deal with it, think about it. You dont' want them to spend the next three months in a hospital, miss vacation, not be able to socialize, etc. She doesn't want to have her friend go through that so she's still in denial. When I told her about my boyfriend and his "I'm paranoid" comment...

Doctor said I need to remain glutened...I feel awful and I have a paper due by midnite tonite that took backseat to my final sha-bang case study also due tommorow. I can't think, I can't sit up, my back hurts, my stomach is ready give birth at any time...and now I feel the need to vomit on top of it all... someone...
  11. I hate Doctors who request your phone call and don't get back with you for four days, and then it's their nurse. So, anything new that may have happened in those 4 days I have to leave a new message for, which won't be returned for 4 days by his nurse again... I HATE THE CITY....my country doctors were back with me in 2 hours and they knew my name, my...
  12. My first night gluten free grocery shopping...what fun! I'll share my funny first and then the questions I visited the Wal-mart bakery last night and just out of curiosity asked if they had anything that was Gluten free, to which the baker replied, "Sure we have lots of things without sugar." I said thanks and then continued my shopping experience... ...
  13. right but I ALSO love grain, nuts, and milk.... I see where you could be upset, I probably would have been a little offended especially since I'm new at it and just made my first grocery shopping trip...not fun...asked the baker if he had anything without gluten in it and he said yea sugar free stuff...ok thanks.... but maybe once I've done this for...
  14. Oddly enough yes and I didn't make the connection until reading on different boards about needing to switch all of your products.... I have previously used mary kay and my foundation had become too dark so I ran to the store and bought some cheap stuff. I had a couple of really nasty break outs and so i started using the darker Mary Kay just in those spots...
  15. jumping on this question thing....what is whey flour and can we eat it? I guess I don't understand what it is and it's not listed as something we can't eat. OH and found my first box that said GLUTEN free...Wal-mart Brand mashed potato flakes!

    ARCHIVED My Poop

I might ask your doctor about the film because mine seemed extremely interested to know whether or not I had a slimy film on my poo...of course at this point I didn't know the medical problem i was getting in to and hadn't really paid much attention, now I turn and take a look before I flush!!

I just ran and looked at my Oscar hot dogs and I...

    ARCHIVED Help!

HI! I'm a twenty-one year old college student who was just recently put on a gluten free diet. I'm finding it nearly impossible to do. I'm putting off eating because I can't figure out how to eat what is right and when I do I feel absolutely miserable. My doctor gave me a sheet of all the "words" I can't eat but it's not helpful and trying to get him to...
