  2. I've heard too that getting glutened can result in anxiety - maybe the elevated heartbeats are a result of this? I know when I get glutened, my pulse goes up, even though I don't feel like I'm necessarily anxious...just a thought.
  3. I get nasal congestion too, where my nose turns red and I can't breathe through it for about an hour or so...weird.

I agree....my vision goes blurry for a few seconds and then is fine, all day long if I've got the brain fog...it definitely feels like I'm stoned.... and the dizzy thing is definitely related....ataxia is a balance disturbance...I used to get horrible episodes of dizzyness and sea-sick feeling...hasn't happened once since going gluten-free
  5. ok since we're talking about yeast infections, i hope no one gets grossed out if i go into some details...last week i thought i had a yeast infection..so i got monistat and have been eating yogurt every day....the only thing is, the monistat (its the insertable with applicator kind) seems to really irritate the whole area for about an hour...is this a sign...

  8. Hi - I've got either a bad cold or allergies coming on, and my head gets so stuffed up....does anyone know if Sudafed and/or Claritin is okay? We called the Sudafed company and they said that while sudafed itself doesn't contain gluten, it may be manufactored in a place that does manufacture gluten containing products. I do know that the two days...
  9. Eating too much fiber can make you very nauseous and sick to your stomach...add that to the coffee, with its caffiene and fiber-like results, and that might explain why you feel so yucky now...   10. Thank you for all of your feedback. I seem to react a few hours after eating something, and then have symptoms for 1-3 days. I'm going to just eat potatos, fruit, vegs, and meat for awhile...I can't seem to tolerate rice right now. : ( I have found that peppermint tea is wonderful for bloating and tummy aches...I try to drink a cup a day (plus it helps...
  11. Yikes, that does sound horrible! I have only been diagnosed since March, and I thought I was doing so well, but something is still glutening me, and I can't figure out what. Does anyone have a good sense of how soon after eating something do we feel the symptoms? Is it a couple of hours? Or is it more like a day or two later? This could help me figure out...
