  1. Does that mean you aren't a good girl. (j/k btw)
  2. I would think it would still be just as bad if it was the prongs but who knows. You and Donna.
  3. Varicella is the chicken pox vaccine. I had a rash band around the side of my upper torso to the back when I was in high school. Didn't really hurt at all though so it couldn't have been shingles. Never did figure out what it was, happened off and on for the whole year, maybe two and I haven't seen it since.
  4. Boy, that sounds like a busy day. Get your feet up as soon as you can. Glad you recovered quickly from your weekend, that's a plus.
  5. I agree with you here.
  6. To me it is just as bad, others may disagree. I'm very conservative but have learned to tolerate others walks, beliefs. This board has helped a lot in that, as I've met so many different people from all over. I've been busy in the kitchen and now I need to spend a little time with the kidlets. I'll be checking in as always though. Carla,...
  7. I actually don't mind cleaning up after horses, I know, I'm weird. Sounds like your mom had a pretty horse. As far as the Lord's name taken in vain.....I think that's pretty common all denominations wide, unfortunately.
  8. Thanks. I won't fret. Each time we fall we need to pick ourselves up and move forward, you're right. I'm doing that. I'm more at peace with the decision to sell most of them. A lot of them were charged as it is, so any we sell will go back that direction.
  9. I don't know much about shingles....just heard it was painful. I know the new vaccine (varicella) can cause shingles but I'm pretty sure you guys (Donna and Rinne) didn't get that. I can't imagine the pain on the inside. Is there anything that can be done for it? (like the b vitamins) Do you know?
  10. I think most horses swell to some extent. I'd always cinch my horse and then tighten it again a few minutes later. I'd be glad to give you lessons. Hubby is more of the maintenance/upkeep person of the farm and horses. I've changed my avatar to a scan of the model replica we had done of my horse. That is one we will never part with. The gal...
  11. Thanks again Carla. I do believe we caught things early, celiac included. I'm going to talk to my doctor tomorrow about what we can do for possible candida and metals trouble. I don't think we are toxic since we aren't sick. You are right in that my faith is very important to me. I slipped a lot last year and in the process went on a spending...
  12. NGG, Since I don't have my Rachelville status in my sig you wouldn't know this.....unless you found a town list on past readings. Since I love horses so much hubby and I are owners of the Circle R horse farm here in Rachelville.
  13. Check out almond or hazelnut milk. We've taken to adding fruit juice (we dilute it) to cereal in the mornings.
  14. I had heard that OJ fortified with calcium was a no-no. I don't know why though. The citric acid shouldn't be a problem as it is either derived from corn or lemon. We haven't had any in quite some time though. Citric acid is in many things that celiacs eat. Hope this clears up quickly for you.
  15. but, but, but......probiotics are supposed to be good for you. This sounds like the answer to why Seth had a little eczema breakout and a horrid diaper rash. Poor little guy. I will not be taking anymore probiotics until I can get rid of these amalgams. Neither will Talitha.
  16. Thanks Rachel. I'll talk to my doctor and see if there is anything natural and safe to take (like chlorella) that can rid any metals from the intestines and look for a doctor in our area when we can free up some funds to have any other options looked at. Glad the song service went well. Yay on the b-vitamins, hope they continue to agree with...
  17. I'm glad you got things worked out. It is very easy to be misunderstood. I like the funnies in with the serious. It just seems we get carried away with all funnies and this last summer serious things weren't being responded too. It's good to have a balance though. Of course I prefer less funnies so the computer doesn't call my name so much....
  18. You must have snuck this in as I missed it the first time. I would be highly confused and I don't have brain fog.
  19. If that's the case it wouldn't hurt to check it out. I assume they have good benefits as well.
  20. Yep, unfortunately it's processed with barley. It was a very good milk that we drank pre gluten free.
  21. They don't want to lose a good worker, whether your brain works all the time or not. Wouldn't suprise me if stores sent out scouts. And how would she know how much you make? Seems you'd be making more where you are at. Maybe she's thinking of people who haven't been there as long and what they'd be making in your department. I...
  22. Sounds like you got a lot out of this appointment. How exciting that you get to start foods soon. That's interesting about the shingles still causing problems. Keep us posted on the b-vitamins. Should be ok if she tested you for them. I'm seriously considering selling all my custom model horses so I can take Seth to bioset. Poor baby was...
  23. NGG, I hope your dog hasn't been poisoned. He doesn't sound like he's doing too good. I agree that the gluten in the food could be causing him problems though.
