ARCHIVED Omg...i Might Be On To Something
AndreaB replied to Rachel--24's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
This thread is definately respectful and I feel the same way. I was thinking, by the time we can get ART done IF they happen to find lyme I don't even know if this thread would be around to report it. We'll see if we can swing in for that next fall so we've got to keep this thread going for at least another 1 1/2 years. Hubby heard something... -

Rachel and Donna live somewhere around the bay area. Their bioset practitioner is found Open Original Shared Link and the person who does ART uses her clinic. Hope that helps. -

I did a little looking today and found out that dental implants are secured with a titanium rod. The problem with tooth extractions comes from whether the dentist/surgeon knows about cavitations and what to do to prevent them. They need to scrape the bone. If that is done you should be ok. Shifting teeth and implants, dentures, bridges or whatever would... -

That's why I'm thinking of having mine pulled. I need to call another dentist and see what they charge for things. I've already contacted one that is mercury (maybe toxic) free. They do do root canals though. I've read everything you've posted. Lots of good info again. We are getting ready to go on our weekly shopping trip. Bellevue is about... -
I'm surprised they even acknowledged it.

Hawkfire, We buy our meat from US Wellness meats. It is 100% grass fed, naturally fed beef and poultry, lamb. It's the best meat we've ever had and the chicken has a normal color, not yellow skin. They are organic but aren't labeled organic due to the regulation hassles and expense. Considering that they ship overnight, there prices are very good...

Kettle brand potato chips make me sick as well. I don't remember whether the corn chips did. We stopped buying them at the same time. -

I think I've seen that. I have pea fibre flour in my freezer from gluten-free Pantry I think. I haven't used it (not sure about intolerances) and don't know whether that would be included with that or not.

Thank you for posting this Liz. We found out we all have at least one celiac gene from his testing. I'm still waiting for his publishing as well. I wonder if we'll have access to it, or if they'll annouce it when it is published.

We can't win for losing can we? It's better than amalgams though and the amalgams are what have caused the tooth destruction. Why does this not surprise me. I'm glad you've seen some improvement though. -

OK, now I'm wondering about the injection treatment your getting (sorry, forget the name). Seems to me that that won't do a thing for the lyme and it seems likely that the pain would be from that or the co-infections. I could be wrong though.....just thinking out loud. -

I haven't heard very good things about gold either. But, as you said, it's a major stressor you got taken care of. -

Um, we did have a major flea infestation here when we moved, athough that would be a real slim possibility. I still think mercury is a problem for us. I am very interested in ART though. Since Dr Amy is up here I will contact her clinic when we can swing getting ART done (which would be a year, at least, out). I'm thinking we may only need the... -

Sounds like it's not a huge problem with the lyme itself. What about the co-infections? Are you going to do the Igenix test? Looks like you have your answer about your lack of sleep. Did you test the meds your taking for that? Do they help or hinder the process of getting your hormones ironed out? I'll be waiting for your update. ... -

That would be great if it worked out like that........definate possibility. Can't wait to hear how it went. Hope your treatment from yesterday doesn't cause problems for you today. I'll be waiting upon the results of your sleep log and whether the med your on does better during those 2 weeks. -

We haven't had a problem with sandwiches crumbling with this recipe. I make 3 loaves at a time with a mixer with the following ingredients. 2 3/4 c rice flour 1 c sorghum I've been using tapioca as I'm out of potato starch but plan on going back to that when I run out of tapioca. The other changes I've made are (again for the 3 loaves) ... -

It's cute but looks way to small for my tastes. I like the idea of being able to throw stuff in the back seat......unless the pontiac has a real good sized trunk.....which I somehow doubt. -

I haven't had the potato chips but Frito's haven't gone over well most times and I'm not intolerant to corn. -

Miamia, I've got to side with Rachel on this.........step away from the peanut butter....do not buy it. Hope you can work out some reduced payments with the new doc. My doc is out of network and he gives me a 10-20% discount if I pay with cash. Maybe this doc could give you a bigger discount since you'd need to see him more often. Christina... -
