  1. I'm still waiting for Dave and Bev's husband to answer the application questions that our esteemed president wrote out. Bev.....Page 305 for your hubby....look for a post to The Dave. Oh OK. I'll repost it here. Are you gluten free? Do you promise to never infiltrate Rachelville with gluteney foods? Do you promise to never...
  2. Actually, Tavi has the job of keeping the paths leaf free and keeping tumbleweeds out. We could give Dave the Tumbleweed job if he wants to be a resident.
  3. Susan, We are 27 miles north of the Oregon/Washington border via I-5. Seth has taken a great interest in the heater vents. Needless to say he gets quit cold with all that cold air blowing on him.
  4. Miamia, I too hope you feel better soon. Remember Rachel said the meds take about 1 month before you start feeling a little bit better.
  5. Susan, You want to be sick tomorrow too!!!!! If I lived closer to you I'd come hide them myself. I don't know where you are, aren't you in Central Cali. I know a friend in high school (many years ago and before speed limit change) said it took 19 hours to get to his house outside of LA. He was up here with his mom for part of the year. We...
  6. Yes, Cissie, please share. I posted this morning Susan and was on here way too long. I'm back for a bit and will be off and on the rest of the day. I usually just leave the connection up in the afternoon/evening until bedtime. Susan.....the stalker must be a gorgeous male speciman and not hurt you.
  7. Bev...he needs to answer the questions on the application. I posted one for Dave on page 305. If he passes (which I'm sure he will) then I will add him as Computer Tech and One Man Band. I would need him name too. I sure hope you get to the bottom of whatever it is that's got a hold of you.
  8. I have a few recipes for cashew cheese. The first one can be used in pretty much anything. I only use the gel if I want to freeze it. Omit for cheese to make mac & cheese. Sliceable Cashew Cheese From Five Loaves Deli & Bakery by Neva Brackett 2 cups cashew nuts 3/8 cup emes kosher gel (I’m sure regular gelatin would work) 1 ½ cu...
  9. She must be one of those rare souls that doesn't need much to function.
  10. Yiiiiippeeeeeeee!
  11. Nikki, Will you get the blood results back before holiday? At least he has painkillers to take but that's still a bummer.
  12. I have recipes in cook books I have. We were formerly vegans, before soy/gluten intolerance. We used to use Soy Garden by Earth Balance.
  13. I am soy/gluten and dairy free now. I use cashews to make a lot of things. Cashew cheese for Mac & Cheese, Coconut oil based butter, banana sorbet for ice cream, there is also rice dream ice cream. Some flavors are not good though...read labels. I'd be glad to repost recipes although I did post them on another thread about dairy free foods.
  14. If the nut thins are the only new thing you've eaten I would suspect them. Do you get more sensitive with your cycle? Could it be the nut thins earlier than normal? I would try broccoli again when you feel better at the same time and see what happens. No more nut thins until you can rule in or out the nut thins. Where's Annie, the therapuetic...
  15. Rinne, I couldn't help but notice the correlation between you and Rachel. She goes on an ice cream binge, tries veggies she know causes problems and feels miserable. Take things slow, add only one item at a time with at least a week in between, preferably longer. I had banana sorbet with chocolate chips last night. I'm mildly allergic to bananas...
  16. They do not bill insurance companies and send the results to you. The only way your insurance would know about it is if you filed a claim for reimbursement.
  17. Julie, Done. I'll post as soon as I know what Dave and Bev's husband want to do....providing the answer the application questions. This is Rachelville....anything is possible. COLONel. What would you like to do Chelsea?
  18. Bev, Your hubby would be welcome. He's got to answer the questionairre I posted for Dave a few posts ago. Same stipulations for anyone not totally gluten free. Our town will not be infiltrated but if spouses, friends and family will agree to go through the decontamination chamber process....it's workable. I sure hope you get to the bottom of this...
  19. Welcome Dave. I have the application that our esteemed president has put together. To be a permanent member of Rachelville, it is only 3 questions. Are you gluten free? Do you promise to never infiltrate Rachelville with gluteney foods? Do you promise to never bring gigantic Auxigro ridden produce into R-Ville? OK...Thats about...
  20. Ryan, That's a tough call. I know the military does things like that alot. I wouldn't want my husband to be gone that long if it could be helped. Especially with the challenges with your son. I also echo Patti I think, how does your wife feel about it? Picard, Have you thought of going through the expense of enterolab. It costs ...
  21. I can't imagine Rachelville consuming our time. Just ask my husband....he has to fight for some computer time. I hope you get a good nights rest with what's left of it.
  22. Thanks Tanya for taking the time to keep us updated. Hugs for you and your family.
  23. Welcome Isonic. Love the picture of your kitty. We hope you will visit us often. This thread (Rachelville) goes from topic to topic depending on what the residents are dealing with that day.
  24. Meredith, That's gotta be tough to be in youth hostels. I would think there would be lots of cc issues in those. Any job leads? Have you done lots of exploring or mainly looking for jobs thus far. I hope you get over this quickly and can go about enjoying your travels.
