Susan, We love your input. I stated the same thing as you some time back. We are all part of this thread and we are all important to each other. -

Hear hear. I agree with that. I love this thread. It's very therapuetic when the kids are at each other. Of course, maybe they wouldn't be if I would get off this computer. Thank you Celia. Just thought I'd share the other two kidlets. -

I'm not sure about Amish and facilities. I do know they don't have modern conveniences...cars, electricity, maybe phone. The people in your community are probably mennonites which are like amish but not so conservative. It is actually a mennonite homeschool program that I will be using. Don't kick me out but I tend toward the more conservative side now... -

Do you remember which vaccine. DTaP, MMR, Varicella have gelatin, Pneumococcal has soy protein & yeast, Hib has yeast, most shots are also involve aborted fetal tissue as well. I have a long document that lists ingredients used...if you remember which shot he reacted to (or the group) and can let me know his allergies maybe I can find something. -

I don't remember the smell being that bad, the taste wasn't real bad, just not milk or soymilk, or rice milk. I just didn't like it. -

Ick, Ick, Icky. That's what hubby and I say. Of course I tried it before I found I was allergic to it (low). Some people love it though...maybe you'll be one of those. -

Are the enzymes the same as the keto or something else? I'm thinking they are two different things, am I right? -

Yes indeed. I'm having a hard time sharing the computer with my hubby today. We are getting ready to go out to return stuff so I'll be 10 pages behind when we get back right. Raw milk is supposed to be better for you, but yes you have the bacteria possibility. I've read it's best to go out to a farm a look around and buy a share of a cow... -

Congratulations on catching up Cissie and you're welcome about the water man. I bought gluten free oats at the gluten free store in Vancouver Washington which wouldn't help you at all. They have some online I believe. Buckwheat is supposed to be ok for us to eat. -

Rachel, Why don't you try cutting out all the gluten/gliadin and see what happens. How often can you have meat? Obviously, if you aren't having problems that are known with the rice you need to eat it. It also has good fiber. The medicine should help with any possible problems you may be experiencing with rice...and as you heal you should be able... -

We used to eat Freezee's nut cream which is good but has isolated soy protein in it as well as soy lecithin. If you can eat bananas they do well as a sorbet...I add the enjoy life chocolate chips to that. We have a champion juicer that makes sorbet but you could probably blend it up in a blender or food processor. Freeze the bananas for a least ... -

Rice should be ok Rachel...of course if you go by mercola I think he is against rice also. You needed the sleep, don't feel bad. We're supposed to take stuff back...don't know if we are going today or tomorrow now. Kids are having fun in the kiddie pool and we are baby proofing since the little one is starting to get around a little more. ... -

Celia, Can you eat avocados or nuts. Dairy could still cause you problems...personally if you have any malabsorpton (which I'm assuming you do) then I would leave off of the dairy until you are better. -

Julie, I bought this for my hubby. He's not even gluten intolerant and he's been bothered by the cereal. We haven't had an allergy test for him...I wonder. That makes cereal even tougher. He likes the nutty flax and it has a good amount of fiber. He's got to increase his fiber because of his fissure. Back to just corn...a lot of cereals also have... -

That's looking to be more and more the case isn't it. Maybe after avoiding all gluten and all gliadin possible and start healing more things will be better. I mean, it would make sense that once healed we would be able to eat other foods (except gluten and gliadin) and not have so much or any of a reaction. -

I want an organic farm. Even just a big family garden on our own piece of property. I like quiet and the road we are on is a little too busy for my tastes. -

Ok everyone....I'm taking back the quinoa, quinoa flour, teff flour, amaranth flour and quinoa corn pasta. I'll look for plain corn pasta. S the space bar baby if after the keyboard. He always pushes the space bar. After we eat, we're heading out. I have a bag of gluten free oats too but I can't take that back. May not have a problem with these... -

Julie, Sounds like you would benefit from going gliadin free as well. You're corn free too right? Can you use arrowroot, you could sub arrowroot for cornstarch in recipe/flour mixes...although arrowroot is more expensive. I buy it bulk from Azurestandard.com. They could UPS that to you and you can search for other things they have you can eat. Natural...
