  1. For a biopsy you need to consume gluten. Probably depends on how long you are off of it before the biopsy would be. I think they say it needs to be equivalent to 4 slices of bread a day for six months...... Remember biopsies are hit and miss and just because a biopsy may be negative doesn't mean you don't have a problem with gluten. Something in the...
  2. Laurie, No problem. When you're feeling better (less brain fog, etc) then you can come back to the thread. Most of us have short posts to help with the attention difficulties of the lyme brain.
  3. Borst, I don't remember......did you go dairy free as well. Candida is often a problem if there is something else going on......with my family metals. The body allows the candida to overgrow to absorb the metals. Candida is bad too, but not as bad as if the metals were circulating. Something we've been talking about alot on the OMG thread is humaworm...
  4. Jin, I forgot..... Hope your appointment is productive this morning and that you do get to have the blood draw for Igenex real soon. Was that next week? Have you got the paperwork from them?
  5. That's great to hear! Yep, Enjoy Life would be safe. We also found some chocolate bars Whole Foods Brand that are safe......although they are processed in the same facility type thing. That's alot of garlic! I can't imagine 5 cloves.
  6. Those both sound good. Have a good night and I hope you get some sleep. I'm heading that direction.
  7. We are taking King Chlorella with Russian Immune Support by Allergy Research Group/Nutricology. You can get it at holisticphysician.com for a good price. That's who we order it from because he offers it less than Dr. E can. I assume he orders big supplies since he can offer stuff online. Hang in there with the LLMD.........He/she will know what's...
  8. Judy, It's a thread devoted to those in need of support. Alison, I'm sorry to hear about Noah still not doing well. I'll let my family know about him too.
  9. No you're not a hypochondriac. Lyme sounds highly suspsicious in your case. I agree with what Donna and Carla have already said. I'm one of the few on the OMG thread that doesn't have lyme and I second the invite.
  10. I don't know if Mitch has taken the garlic the last two days but he chewed it the first day and just chopped it the second day........I didn't know you were supposed to crush it. I just made hummus with fresh garlic cloves........nummy. The children love it! If it were me I'd say the same thing "being my own person"......but it...
  11. This thread is designed to be a place where those that need prayers, good thoughts, vibes, energy for situations they need support for to come. A centralized thread will help keep those members needs in one place for others to see. For those who subscribe to this thread......if it's not active at times, please make sure to re-add it to your subscriptions...
  12. Good idea. It's not a problem asking for prayers, thoughts....whatever a person believes in. The controversy comes from people not accepting other's viewpoints and beliefs. No one is mad at you. I'll go ahead and start a topic called Members in Need. Thanks Scott.
  13. I haven't heard of that but if it's whey (as in from cow or goats), Dr E doesn't want us on anything like that at this time. Hope your arm is better now. I would be surprised if this round of abx cleared up everything.......I still think you have lyme. Could you do another one now? Do you have any vacation left? I can't believe...
  14. I thought you did good. I don't know about he humaworm but like to hear everyone's experience with it. I still think that needs to be in our future sometime. I'm hoping to get my teeth done next fall but am not doing anything right now aside from some supplements for my family that was tested (ART muslce testing). We are totally out of...
  15. Jin, Sorry about your reaction. I agree with Kassandra......maybe it would be best to go casein free for awhile. Kassandra, I think it's been too soon for the abx to make much of an impact on the blood work.......especially if it's not Igenex. I believe Carla's daughter was given a month of abx and then reevaluated and retested to see...
  16. Looks nice from what I can see. Yay on more for you!
  17. Oh no! I don't know what you'll do without your cell phone! I'm flexible but if your calling plan isn't I can call you or we can wait til next weekend. I would tend to think herx.
  18. Have a safe trip. We'll see you when you're able to get online......or when you get back. Great news on the metals test! I remember that. Oxolates sound like a very good possibility.
  19. Great news! Love the lyme funnies. My family always did tree and decorations Thanksgiving weekend....it's not too early.
  20. Welcome April! If you have no reason to suspect lyme then continue pursueing the metals issue. If things don't resolve or other symptoms appear then you could pursue lyme. If you've been in tick infected areas then you'd definately want to look into it. Metals won't let the candida die out. Yes, you would have thought that doctor would...
  21. Hey Donna! It's good to have an update! I'm sorry to hear about the overburdening on the pesticides and herbacides. Somehow I'm not too surprised though. That pumpkin pie sounds good! I don't know about the humaworm and the NT testing...... That's great news about the progress you've made too this year.
  22. Well, we have lots of people to report how this humaworm works. I hope the chlorella does well with you to, Ami.
  23. I hope Adam doesn't feel too poorly for too long. I didn't realize they had children's pills. I need to look around the site more.
  24. Is it possible that toxins are trying to come through your skin if they can't get out otherwise? I would think an allergic reaction would have started sooner, but you did say they sometimes took 2-3 days didn't you? Carla has a laptop so she can stay in bed when she's not feeling well and still be on the computer. I've missed seeing you......just...
  25. Seems up to a week. They just mention avoiding garlic (along with other similar foods) for the first 2 months. I'll try it. I'll just have to play it by ear and hope he doesn't get slammed with more mercury. If I start having any symptoms I'll stop and go that route next year. I'll have to talk to hubby more and see if he thinks I should wait. Affecting...
