  1. I tend to agree with this. Ummm, do I know what snowball cookies are? Yay on your friends. It will be nice to have friends that know what you are going through. You definately need more than just water to survive.
  2. Yay on the food! Boo on the meds. I assume that means we'll see more of you at least until Thanksgiving. I don't think I could ever do that. Mitch did buy me some Enjoy Life chocolate chips though. Hope all goes well tomorrow and that you get to start those IV's extremely soon. Have you moved into your spare bedroom...
  3. Thanks for the post Rachel. Does that mean we can eat chocolate all day 2x a week?! Welcome Nancy! I was going to suggest the same thing Carla did. Sherry, I couldn't get on here either, so just getting caught up now. Hope your apple and blueberry pie turns out fantastic and that you have a good belated birthday celebration...
  4. If you go to the parent site www.celiac.com they have list of safe and unsafe foods.
  5. I need to try and remember to post everything in black. Thanks for the drive by. I've been worried about you.

The lighter green is much better......thanks Scott!
  7. I had EMF stress come up on my ASYRA testing. I'm still on the computer almost all day. Looks like the main board color has been toned down now........still light print though.

I always do the quote then my response.
  9. Thanks Catefolly. I've heard lots of stuff about how bad cell and cordless phones are. It's interesting to see a report on it. Is Igenex in your future? Susie UK was reading a day or two ago. Yep, Carla's not on as much when she's feeling better. I don't like the format very well. I agree it's hard to read the posts now with...
  10. If the blood test is positive, it's positive. There are false negatives though. If you feel you need the biopsy then you need to keep her on gluten. With her being young she'd probably heal quickly and biopsies are hit and miss as it is. There are doctors out there who will look and the blood test results along with the positive dietary response and...

The green has come up for me before but hasn't been consistant. Just this last time that I've been on, it seems to be sticking. I like the color theme........It's just going to take some time getting used to the way the posts are laid out now.
  12. Sorry Julie. Everything looks pretty good. I'd have to have some cooked meat if I were ever to do anything like that. I think my children would go on strike though. I think China's behind us. Happy Birthday Sherry! Hope it's a good one.
  13. How are you doing Laurie?
  14. Boy does that sound familiar. My hubby and I go through a bag in two sittings......maybe less. Those snickerdoodle pumpkin mini pies sound pretty good. Kassandra, How do you have a raw pizza? Don't you have to have a cooked crust? Ok, to update the possible lyme list......hopefully I won't forget anyone this time....
  15. Deb, You don't have an active intolerance so you could continue eating gluten if you want to......or maybe just go gluten light. With the celiac gene you may or may not become active at some point. My husband tested negative through enterolab too but he has 2 celiac genes so he went gluten free with the rest of us. Do you eat soy? That could cause...
  16. How could I forget Jin......Sorry Jin. Where are you Jin? Me too......think that many more have it. My family doesn't appear to be in that loop and I have no reason to think we are. You guys are stuck with me though. I cerainly hope you don't have to go the legal route but I do agree with that decision. This is just...
  17. Oops. I forgot Sherry too since she's not on my list. She was diagnosed long before this thread came into existance. Sorry Sherry.
  18. 10 people so far. You, Rachel, Mia, Carla, Laura, Charlie, Donna, Bev, Chloe, Truthsearcher. Suspected with Carla's oldest son, Kassandra and Sarah.
  19. Now we have you, Julie and Carla to let us know how this stuff works. I've never liked meat rare. I always liked it medium-well done. My parents always cooked flank steak to a medium-rare though I think. Still pink inside. I forgot to add from yesterday's phone consult. I mentioned to Dr. E that I must not have a very bad candida...
  20. Sounds like a good plan. That's what Carla did too afterall. Is the appointment monday to run any tests or just an office visit to plan on what needs to be done with the GI doctor? So far so good. Chocolate in the office......that would be hard except that I avoid soy lecithin too. I'll have to try and remember to ask you...
  21. I don't think I could have done that even at your age! Maybe 24 but not 36. Glad the fundraiser was so successful though. Are you still gluten free or mostly so?
  22. From what I remember reading last year there is generally a gradual feeling better but if your damage is severe that may take awhile. One poster felt better after a year but didn't feel really good til after 2 years.
  23. Is sleep in the equation anywhere? Sleep is a very important ingredient to good grades. Economics.......don't remember how I did in that.......not my most favorite subject.
  24. Yes she is......Carla's oldest. Very sweet young lady IMO.
  25. Hey Stranger!!!! It's good to see you. That paper must be a real good paper.
