  1. Pectin is not allowed either. I think Charcoal is.
  2. That's copied from the site Breaking the Vicious Cycle. Chlorella Illegal It is a blue-green algae similar to spirulina. Spirulina Illegal We do not use algae (Spirulina) because IBD involves the immune system and can aggravate an already disturbed immune system. Carla, I hope you start feeling better soon. I'm glad Adam was able to come...
  3. One thing I am concerned about with the SCD is that we can't take chlorella. That is our toxin binder and I really don't want to go off of it, especially with my amalgams still in.
  4. Paula, So glad to hear hubby is taking a week of so you can start detoxing. It's so nice to have a supporting spouse to help with you and the kids. We'll be here when you feel like posting. Carla, Sounds like things are moving along for you. Hang in there! We are looking at starting the SCD diet, but probably not til February...
  5. It was mentioned by a friends' brother to have T tested for chemical imbalances to see if it's something like that behind her anger and outbursts (like attacking me). We've got a program we can look into but it's run by DSHS and I don't really want to go there right now.
  6. I believe you can only edit for a limited amount of time now, then the post is set. Have any of you heard of chemical imbalance tests? Do you know what they are, what lab runs the tests?
  7. Carla, Sorry this has been so rough. It sounds absolutely miserable to go through. Not for the weak anyway. You're a very strong person. I don't know that I'd have the fortitude to go through something like this......not that any of us has a choice if we have to.
  8. No, I don't think you should go back to the bed in the garage. Sounds like you've got some good advice. This sounds like a hard detox. I hope the binders, blueberries and liver support help you out. Do you have help with Adam out of town and M back in school.....I'm assuming M has started school already anyway. I was up most of the night...
  9. Susie, Congratulations! :D Hope you'll pop back in after your little girl is born. Kassandra, I'll pm you. I never took the biotoxin test, don't know that I really need to right now.
  10. Sherry, Yay! Great news on the yogurt trials so far. I'm highly suspicious of the mold shot too. Carla, Sounds like a nice massage place. Glad your symptoms are so much better. That's a hard decision about the bed but I can see your point in the principal of the matter. Nancy, Sorry you've had such a rough time lately. Hope you can...

  14. Carla, That is amazing! Hoping for continued improvement. Really sounds like a big piece of the puzzle for you.
  15. Sherry, I'm glad the diet is going so well for you. I don't know how you made it through the travels without much to eat though! I'm still wondering how to survive without grains to help fill me up. Carla, That's awful about your bed!
  16. As far as I know Modified Food Starch is safe in the US. If it has wheat they need to label it. Some people still react to "safe" things due to cross contamination issues or other food intolerances. Gluten free is free from all gluten grains (wheat, barley, rye, spelt, oats). Wheat free from what I've seen usually contains barley or oats.....so not...
  17. I don't know where you are from but most of the spaghetti factories offer gluten free pasta (corn) with some sauces that are safe. We just got back from dinner out at OSF. The marinara sauce is safe, as well as the mushroom sauce and Mizithra. The pesto salad dressing is safe as well. They do have a gluten free menu list, you just need to ask for it and...
  18. Good to hear from you Miamia and Jin! Miamia.....hope the move goes smoothly. Pop in when you can. Jin, Sorry about the parental stress. Hope you can get things worked out to move and in the meantime, enjoy your bunny.
  19. Glad you got back safe and sound Sherry. Hope the herx is over quickly and that you don't get the flu/virus.
  20. We have the tablets that are chewable.....although they taste awful to me. My youngest chews them, my oldest swallows them. The middle child isn't on Chlorella.....he's on Colon + caps. When we had LED's done and didn't have the extra chlorella with us our youngest was given a capsule that was poured in his mouth.
  21. We've had that before but not alot. That's supposed to be real good for you too. Don't know what to tell you about your ears. Have fun on Sunday. You'll do great!
  22. Donna, That is a mixed bag isn't it? I'm sorry about the appointment reschedule. Hopefully this appointment will go smoothly and you won't have a long wait for surgery. The foot pain doesn't sound like any fun......especially when it interferes with sleep. Hoping it is just from the doctor digging around and you'll be back to feeling good real...
  23. Carla, That is great that you feel so good to get some tedious housework done. Kassandra, Is there anyway to add more calorie dense foods that won't add a lot of food quantity wise to you daily intake? Paula, Yay on you feeling good today too!
  24. Sounds good! I wonder if they are using soy flour in the crust.......
