    Unfortunately, "gluten intolerance" hasn't been sufficiently studied to be able to say if damage is being caused or not. Also, if you consider the biopsy, it doesn't diagnose Celiac, it diagnoses the damage done from Celiac. So a negative biopsy could mean "no", or it could mean "not yet".     I throw equal parts dates and walnuts (or other nuts) into a blender and zap it for a few seconds. When it's starting to get mooshed, add a handful of coconut and a handful of chocolate chips and zap again.     A great deal of basic research takes place at the University level and is funded by the government. The previous administration did not favor medical research, and a good many grants were cut. If you would like more medical research done, write your congress-man or -woman and suggest it.
