  1. This is fab, bunnie. There's a show on one of the cable channels called "How to look good naked" or something like that and it's about learning to appreciate your own beauty, whatever shape it comes in. It's a wonderful concept and one I know I should work on.
  2. OK, the goal here was to make gluten-free, dairy free, soy free corn free coconut free treats for a very wonderful person. Most of the recipes worked fine, but the last wasn't as good as I hoped. I'll write the original recipe, then my version. Mexican cream candy 2 C sugar 3/4 C milk --------cook to soft ball stage (238F) take off heat and...
  3. Open Original Shared Link Read down to where it tells you where the photo is really from.
  4. Mine too! Loved Christie McNichol! Her son is a great kid (which is the way I judge all adults - by how their kids turned out). She teaches acting workshops at one of the other theaters on the island (dang we're an artsy bunch).
  5. Could you, perhaps, describe desired llama smiley? A furry snout? An eared grin?
  6. One more fun thing for you. My neighbor, who was also in the play, was waiting for me to get ready to leave (we carpooled) and he looked over at one of the moms and said "hey, she looks just like one of the pink ladies in grease!" To which I responded Open Original Shared Link Yeah, looks just like her...
  7. Bunnie, hunnie, I got no advice. Never had a cavity The cast party was at Oliver's house. OMG!! Remember me telling you about Allen Cove from my walks and the houses so big they look like three houses put together??? ONE OF THOSE! Kitchen the size of my kitchen and dining room put together, formal dining room, sitting area around the fireplace,...
  8. Didn't mention it much. The first weekend I was too tired. Second weekend kind of sick (poor little Oliver lost his voice completely). And third weekend was all that snow. Just too many other things going on I guess. But it all went well, and an Oliver with barely a whisper is all the more pitiful. For one of Oliver's songs, the Dodger (who is all...
  9. To strike a set means to take it down. We also struck the props and costumes. The play is done. We had good houses, but unfortunately the last show was canceled 'cause of snow. Must go bathe. Just came home for a snack before the party *sigh* Maybe I should be glad that I don't have to lie to everyone about how tasty their store-bought, preservative...

  12. I'm up for that returning-to-reality thing too. I've had no exercise and plenty of sugar for days and days now. Today we strike the set for the play, and then the cast party, so I guess reality starts tomorrow It's finally pouring rain now, and all the snow is melting. It was fun while it lasted. I hope y'all are having a fantastic week, all...
  13. That's my deck. I went out in my jammies Nik! Send Al over. We'll lock ourselves in and watch musicals until our eyes dry out!
  14. Can I have this goal too? Or do I actually have to clean my house before claiming it?
