  1. I haven't, I don't intend to. I think that a lot of the things they listed are vague. They could pertain to anything, or nothing. That particular site seems a bit like a scare blog. I pretty much skip sites that expect you to believe what they're telling you, without offering any proof.
  2. hmm, me too oh, wait, I don't have any fillings...
  3. And here, in Seattle, it hasn't yet started raining
  4. My muscle cramps are related to dehydration/electrolyte imbalance. The got much better after I went gluten-free, but still come back if I eat something that disrupts my digestive systm
  5. I'm sure that's what I used. How many companies make marshmallow cream with a recipe on it? I was planning on retrying it with almond milk, but all my chocolate had milk in it anyway, so I didn't. I'm sure it will work, it just takes longer to get to 238 degrees. You might also cut the butter in half, and add that much more volume in milk (to...
  6. Patti, I didn't post the chocolate fudge recipe. I used the recipe off the marshmallow cream jar except I used coconut milk for the milk, and a mix of dark chocolate and unsweetened chocolate for the flavor (about half of each). I thought it turned out more 'adult' (less sweet) than regular fudge.
  7. hmm. I used to drive 4 hours to my parents house in a car without a radio. I did math in my head all the way. Would that work for you?
  8. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACQUIE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hey, dinner out is better 'n nuttin.
  9. This is well said. Just because something worked for one person, doesn't mean it will work for you. Consider all that you hear and try to decide what might be an appropriate approach for you.
  10. I think Peter's point was not that you should consider corn, but that most people want one change to fix their problems, but for some, one change is not enough. If you keep an open mind and are willing to try many things, you may find all the answers to your health problems.
  11. You can have both. I'm allergic to wheat (and rye) and also have an intolerance. My allergic response is asthma/can't breathe, my intolerance response is headache and brain fog.
  12. The year is new the badness is through we'll lift a glass to hats of a$$ and wish them well as they, too, pass Our friends of fur who's love is pure will lift us up in our second cup to toast the newest cats and pup From house and home we sometimes roam but always keep near the sillies so dear the worst is much better when we are all...
  13. Hey everyone! Months and months ago I ordered the eyeshadow kit that came with an eyeshadow brush (it no longer does). The brush was out of stock so I didn't get one.... until today. I came home to a eyeshadow brush in a little packet :D Guess who's heading off to get more EM
  14. Cheery Bleary New Yeary to all here-y! P'raps our queen can decree that 2009 will be free of all ills for all psills.
  15. mmmm hockey.... that's something with sticks, right?
  16. sigh somehow this morning I stepped in cat pee without knowing it while wearing my socks. Now I'm stuck at work with wee-feet and no way to do anything about it AND my tennis shoes are gonna reek until I can wash them.
  17. I usually just go to bed
  18. This morning a guy on the bus was telling the story of his 7 year old who's had his blankie his entire life. It's now the size of a hand towel and he has no intention of giving it up. Dunno what made me think of that
  19. Candida is a fungus, not a bacterium. If you can convince someone with the power to write prescriptions that you have issues with a fungus, then you can take an antifungal for a week and clear up all your issues. An interesting way to return your intestinal flora to normal: Open Original Shared Link
  20. Chips are about the only junk food I can eat without consequence discomfort issues I can't deal with. Never thought about it, but probably shouldn't be eating chips either. Anyway, my point was, Suze, they're chips. I eat them all the time.
  21. Ah yes, Edna. An unpleasant name for an unpleasant event. Some of us are permanently on an all-foods-tasty Edna oh well. I did manage to scarf down quite a bit of gfcfsf candy by pretending that the massive amounts of sugar didn't count.
  22. lots of tea. The extra fluid helps (me at least) flush the unpleasantness out of my body.
  23. I recall Peter having a pretty big deck... Tom, tell us about your deck. Solid? Good for parties? Slippery when wet?
