  1. I have been seeing an acupuncterist twice a week since the end of January. I do not have a diagnosis just a lifetime of knowing that wheat hurt me, a sudden dramatic weight loss accompanied by severe digestive /intestinal distress and a sister who is a Celiac. I went to my western doctor in January and she did not even have the time to listen to my...
  2. Hi, I am also new to this forum and to living as a Celiac. I'm very glad to find this place and thanks to Cindy for the Lorenzos tip, I live in Winnipeg. I had also heard that there is a bakery in St.Vital that is entirely gluten-free and that even the workers are not allowed to bring gluten onto the premises. 6. I have yet to receive any kind of diagnosis but my sister was told she had IBS and Celiac and that the Celiac diagnosis meant she was allergic to wheat and should stay away from it. That was nearly five years ago and she has continued to consume wheat occaisionally because it was just an allergy, she thought the IBS was the real problem. She is very ill...
  7. Hello, I am new to this forum but couldn't resist the opportunity to comment on Metamucil. First though Jenvan this was too funny: Funny story: dh dumped a bottle of an intense powder cleanse formula he had and I was looking--otherwise I would have stopped him!! But he dumped it down the sink, then proceeded to flush water down the sink saying it...
