  1. Oooops! I was going to edit my post because once I read it I realized I sounded nosey!! SORRY! Hope its okay now.
  2. Did you have the IV abx monday too? Could be the combination did it or it was the abx causing the reaction yesterday. It would be wierd to think you would react to the iron itself??? But I guess anything's possible. Wonder if there is anything in there besides Iron? I know that was so scary. I *thought* I was having an anaphylatic reaction about...
  3. Lisa, About Zeolite....I was all into trying it and then I started researching it and found all of these websites saying DON"T take liquid form?? Have you read any of that? Some websites were really adamant about it. Something about the liquid form not being known if the structure is still in tact as it is in a mineral (powdered) form. I guess I...
  4. Paula, Citric acid is now derived from fungus. That's probably why your body doesn't like it. It would feed any candida issues that you might have. That might be a good one to avoid. I think Moldlady talked about it back on the candida thread??? Kassandra, OH NO! That's all you need! Does anyone know if it was from Iron IV's or...
  5. This would be good as chicken nuggets and pan seared in coconut oil!
  6. For bread crumbs I find a good gluten free bread and blend up the entire loaf in the food processor. Then I freeze and use as needed. I use this mixture for making homemade chicken nuggets or anything else that calls for bread crumbs. I try to steer clear of corn as much as I can, which is hard being gluten free, but I have managed to do it so far! ...
  7. Hi everyone! Good info on the enzymes Rachel. I just wanted to add, that even if you are Celiac and have to adhere to a Strict gluten free diet, you may still benefit from enzymes in general. Some people have been so sick for so long that going gluten free does not always mean an immediate healing in the gut and a little help from enzyme supplementation...
  8. Seems like I clearly remember Unclezack stating several times the length of his illness that started at age 5 but was undiagnosed for many many years until after that. That he and his wife enjoyed eating out on Friday nights up until his diagnosis and then he became so sensitive to cross contamination in a restaurant sitting that they stopped. That they...
  9. It is the board's responsibility to protect us from sneaky advertising, but personally, I would like to be responsible for researching and making my own choices by hearing accounts of others - good and bad - on a particular product or idea. I don't want to be "protected" because others might be gullible. I think there are definately undiagnosed...
  10. It is my understanding that villous atrophy and leaky gut can be caused by other situations other than celiac disease. I re-read the entire page on Enzymedica just to see if I am missing something....I think that by starting off in the very first paragraph . I personally don't see what the problem is. I find this to be a true statement:...
  11. I have found Rice Marshmallow Creme at Earth Fare. I made rice krispie treats using that and brown rice crispies.
  12. That's good that you don't react. I guess as long as all the fungus is removed then it should be fine. I think a lot of enzymes are made that way....
  13. Wow! I am bumfuzzled at this thread! I just read it from beginning to end and am in complete disbelief! I just wanted to say that I agree 100% with Rachel. I also think that anyone out there still experiencing major reactions to gluten due to cc could still have underlying issues that they have not dealt with. Hundreds of Enzymes...
  14. Nope - none of my dr's ever recommended probiotics for me (except my naturopath of course). They only recommended antibiotics which started the decline of my health. Thank you for these links Rachel. I will forward on to my friend whose child is dealing with some of these issues. I wanted to talk to her about Phenols but not being as educated...
  15. OMG!! I wish you guys could see my garden! My tomato plants are like 7 feet tall! The zucchini plant is like 6 feet round and the zucchini's are a foot long! Great for grilling. The bean plants are about 6 - 7 feet - but that is where the vine poles stop so they are coming back down and around. The cucumber plants are HUGE! This year...
  16. It is important to avoid enzymes from fungal sources. I think these can cause more stress in the body especially anybody with fungal issues. For a veggie garden I would avoid any treated lumber. If its not a redwood or some other kind of wood that does fine untreated then it will rot. I use rocks to outline a lot of my garden beds. I like...
  17. Paula, my son excreted a lot of arsenic too, in his urinalysis (unprovoked). I know its scary. I have had very good luck with enzymes so hopefully it will help. I would steer clear of trying them at the same time as cheese because if you do have a reaction you won't know which one it was. Julie, Happy Birthday! I hope you had a good...
  18. Paula, The wood on the interior of your home should be fine - it would not be treated wood. It would be raw wood either painted or stained. The wood on the deck would most likely be treated to prevent it from rotting. They have since banned pressure treating with arsenic products, although who knows if what they use now is safe. I haven't looked...
  19. Paula, Julie had a good suggestion. When I was having leaky gut and candida really bad, I would react to all kinds of foods. Someone suggested to me to eat what I KNOW I can eat safely. So, what I did is I took out the top 10 allergy foods: gluten, peanuts, corn, soy, dairy, eggs, ect. Then I ate what I knew I had not reacted to in the past. I would...
  20. I just emailed the owner of the company to see if she can explain the C-section issue.
  21. Not sure what that's about??? You can still breastfeed even if you were c-section right? Is it because of the drugs they give you during the surgery - do you have to go on abx? I would have to call the company and ask them I am sure that every child is different in how they react to things.... Let me see if I can find more info on that...
  22. I just wanted to say that I think its VERY important to stick with Human based probiotic strains. Those are the ones that have to be refrigerated. The soil based strains have not been tested long enough and in some cases in a very immune comprimised body, the bacteria's can mutate into pathogenic type bacteria. Mercola sells soil based and I don...
  23. Paula, What did you eat that made you react this time? Wonder if you have leaky gut? When I had leaky gut I reacted to LOTS of things. I hope the bleeding stops soon and the cramps go away! Hydrogen peroxide, I have read that you can swish with this for a natural whitening effect.
  24. That's probably the one I buy! Oh - this is good! Hopefully that will provide you some answers and treatment! I have done the spa treatments. My ND does not believe in them. Seems they have done testing on the water to see what actually can come out and the ingredients are the same with and without the feet. I...
