  1. Nancy, that is great that you are looking into that. EVERYONE! I am going with my friend to take her son to an infectious disease specialist on Monday. I posted about him before because I think he should be tested for lyme. He is 4 and been sick since birth. Been hospitalized 4 times, had ear tubes twice, tonsils out at age 3, constant...
  2. That's great! What brand vit D are you taking?
  3. Hi Julie, The Chigger bites are much better. I stripped my bed and had to wash EVERYTHING. I was worried that we set all our bags from being out of town on the bed and may have brought some in. They are so tiny you can see them. My little boy had about 15 bites! Thanks for asking!
  4. UGG! So frustrating our families can be! I am wondering if I have some kind of parasite problem. I might try the humaworm - even though it really made me feel bad last time.
  5. Paula, Is she taking anything for this? Probably need to clear up the infection before beginning a detox program. If that infection gets worse it can get into the blood. I am pretty sure she might have to do abx for it. But cranberry juice is great for cleansing. Lemon water, too. There are pills that are basically cranberry extract if she...
  6. I have bad congestion in my lungs from these chigger bites. i Read on the links that Carla sent that they can transfer scrub typhus but nothing noted in the usa. Maybe its an allergic type reaction. The kids don't have anything to note. My hubby was possibly bit by a tick 2 x. He found 2 on him, though they were not attached. He has had some gastrointestinal...
  7. My kids and I were eaten by chiggers this past weekend! Anyone have any home remedies for this? I have been doing some research and I refuse to put petroleum, finger nail polish, gasoline, or ammonia on them! The kids have whelts all over! Its terrible and driving us all crazy! I gave them an epsom salt bath and then rubbed vit E oil with baking...
  8. Paula, I take Enzymedica - "Digest". Now that I am used to that I am going to try "Digest Gold" next time. It has a few more enzymes in it. I like the formula because it has enzymes to digest every part of a meal. Carbs, proteins, ect. They sent me 2 celiac disease's which I am learning from with my order. Then later I saw it in the local health...
  9. I finally got caught up. I have been really busy painting some rooms in the house. Moving furniture, painting, cleaning, taking care of kids - exhausting. I am so discombobulated!
  10. This is great news! Not fun - but good! Paula, Probiotics or digestive enzymes might help with this. Digestive enzymes have really helped my bloatedness after meals.
  11. I agree with Rachel. Deal with the mold first. Avoid the foods that she listed above. Maybe even go on an antifungal like Pau D'Arco or Oregano oil just to be sure Fungus is cleared from the body. The fungus in the body can cause impaired detoxification too. Then follow up with a good probiotic like Natren's Healthy Trinity. If you feel LOTS better...
  12. Paula, My little boy at 18 months had very high levels of arsenic. He did an unprovoked urinalysis. I did a lot of research to figure out where that could be coming from and figured out its found mostly in the soil and water. I had my soil tested where we have a veggie garden and it was fine. We now only drink reverse osmosis water. The one...
  13. This is great! I know you'll be looking forward to getting some answers. Glad you are ok! Was that an allergic reaction you were having to the Vanco?
  14. Fresh Lemon Water is supposed to be alkalizing too....
  15. That could be! When I made it the first time it was too thick and stringy. So, the second time in the blender i cut back on the celery. Its still thick but I could choke it down. It is much better in the juicer!
  16. Hi LittleMiss, Dr. Oz had this recipe on Oprah and its pretty good and very alkalizing: spinach, celery green apple cucumber (I like to add parsley) He blended in a blender, but I have used a juicer, too. When I do it in the juicer I add some zucchini. Also, a good brand of green drink powder is Green Vibrance. It does have barley grass...
  17. Julie This is great that you are getting to the bottom of some of the foods. Hopefully, inflammation will continue to go down and no more outbreaks!!! A sample just gets me started. Then I want to Rachel it!!! I wish I had more self control.
  18. That's great! Do you have any special way that you keep the relationship so strong or is it just natural. Back to emotions, I think that I blocked my emotions and it contributed to my sickness 3 years ago. My hubby is not very supportive of me and thinks all this stuff we talk about is a bunch of junk...which he really doesn't have a clue what we...
  19. I have ordered from www.vitalchoice.com. Mercola recommends this company for fresh metal free fish. In fact I plan to make an order soon! Is she referring to Keniesiology?
  20. That's the way to stay positive! This wouldn't be the "water" guy would it??
  21. I think the epidural I had during my pregnancy had a wierd impact on me. I was gettting sick prior to delivery, but after the epidural and the iv abx during delivery, my body went way down hill from there. Even during the epidural I would feel really strange every time I pressed the button. I was scared to press it because I didn't understand why it was...
  22. I saw on the site that they have a VERY detailed Chart outlining what time and when everything should be taken and on what day. That would be very helpful for me! Plus some of the herbs are antifungal which is good for me, too.
  23. I am considering trying 1 month of the Cowden protocol. I would have to order the package which is hugely expensive. I guess this works on Echiriolosis (msp)?? I think that is what one of my igenex test result numbers indicated it "could" be. Since I am not too sick I was thinking this might work. I REALLY wish I could find an art practitioner to help...
  24. Scott says that the treatment protocol for biotoxins is cholestrymine, actos ??, and low amylose diet. Isn't cholestrymine the toxin binder Rx that you guys were talking about? And anyone know what actos is? Anybody have a good link to low amylose diet guidelines? Does the cholestrymine only really absorb toxins?
