    Ktb, Be aware there is an over utilization of PPIs today. Here is some research about it entitled "Overutilization of proton-pump inhibitors: what the clinician needs to know" https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/22778788/ Even short term use of PPIs can cause "Rebound Symptom's" locking in their use.     Plumbago, As I understand your argument is against the website quoted and not the evidence for or against Thiamine. Before I started gluten-free for my son, he was getting more and more picky about food, favoring things with gluten (pizza, buns, etc) and disliking meat more and more (which he used to like).
