Hello,

I hope this is the right section of the forum. I have been gluten free for 3 days or at least i hope so.

I am a bit concerned about my multivitamin and zinc supplements.

Ingredients:

Multivitamin:

Calcium hydrogen phosphate, vitamins mixture (ascorbic acid, niacine, α-tocopherol acetate, calcium-D-pantothenate, thiaminnitrat, riboflavin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, vitamin A-acetate, folic acid, biotine, cholecalciferol, cyanocobalamin), calcium carbonate, magnesium oxide, inulin, potassium chloride, lubricant: hydrogenated cottonseed oil and magnesium salts of fatty acids, iron phosphate, zinc oxide, pepper extract, copper sulfate, manganese sulfate, phytomenadione, ß-carotene, chromium chloride, sodium iodide, sodium phosphate, sodium molybdate, sodium selenate, lubricant: silicium dioxide.

Zinc:

Filler: microcrystalline cellulose, and dextrose, zinc amino acid chelate (25.8%), lubricant: hydrogenated cottonseed oil and magnesium salts of fatty acids, binders: povidone, copper sulphate.

I realize i should be able to find this out on my own but i am very new to this and english is not my first language which makes it a bit complicated.

Thank you for your help.

The brand of both supplements is PEAK Performance by the way.

Hi, and welcome.

Nothing in those ingredient lists raises a concern to me.

      Thanks for your input.

If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly flareups.

No I haven't had one since 2021. I rarely have more than 1 per week.

Sorry, I see that now as I reread your original post. You say you have hemorrhoids "only once a week" now. When I develop hemorrhoids, which is once every few years now, it generally takes 3-4 days for healing to take place. So, it doesn't seem like you could have much relief time between episodes if you have them weekly. Have you had a lower GI scoping done recently?

Everyday I eat a medium to large apple in the morning and a large banana at night. I eat a cup of oatmeal in the evening. The ezekiel wheat bread I eat has a good amount of fiber. I haven't dealt with constipation for at least a year. Most of the time my feces are soft.
