Butter-It Alternative Butter Flavor Ingredients

I think this is a Cargill/Sysco product used for popcorn flavoring, but cannot for the life of me find a true, proper ingredient list. Anyone know of this? Heard of it? Have info on whether it is gluten free or not?

I realize it's not a healthy product, not a GMO free product, I get it. Just curious what the ACTUAL ingredients are. I do know it's soybean oil based.

Thanks!

I have always heard that these popcorn "butters" are gluten-free.  I don't like them on my popcorn.  Can you call or email the company?  Maybe a jug at the movie theater has the ingredients on it? I looked and didn't see anything on-line, either

Yeah....the lady read the ingredients to me over the phone, but she first said, "Oh, we just use butter." I was amazed, and then she said, "Yeah, just butter, It's called....Butter-It," and she tried to read the ingredients, but slaughtered most of the names. I thought butter was just cream and salt!! I can try to make a call. We get it at this little rural gas station (my kids love it....they sell a HUGE bag for 75 cents! Just hoping someone had a list of these fakey flavors.

Next time you are at the station ask to see the container it which it comes. Make sure it is a slow portion of the day and they will likely bring it out to you. That is what I did when I wanted to be sure the flavoring was safe at a theater I go to every once in a while. Chances are very good it is a safe product, at least gluten wise.

Yes, I will have to ask them. I called because it's 3 hours away! I should have remembered at the time, but sometimes I think I get lax with my attention to the little details. Just thought I would throw it out there because this forum is so helpful!

Thanks!

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
