strange pop under right breast, pressure/pain

Hi folks. This morning I had my usual nausea/pain/dizziness crap.

During a meeting, I had a strange feeling that something "burst" in my upper right stomach, way up high under the breast on the right side. It literally made me jump. Now there is a ton of pressure there. I am sure you could have seen it move had my shirt been off. I also feel really off. Weak.

I stupidly had some snickers minis yesterday after looking them up quickly online. When I looked them up again I regretted it.

Not that any of this is celiac related.

Has anyone had extreme pressure and a popping sensation in the right ribs? I mean, I just had a darn MRI of the bile ducts last week so I cannot imagine they would have missed something.

I am nervous because I am supposed to drive 5 hours to Mass General today and unexpectedly have to travel alone at the last minute. This would freaking happen to me today.

Weird popping sensations anyone?

Hi Ironictruth,

My sister has had a rib pop out of joint.  I don't know if it made a pop sound or not.  It did cause some pain though.

Thank you. Nope. Not a rib though. It is still randomly happening.

Randomly Happening, is this like seem to happen when you move your arm or flex in a certain direction? Does it feel like a small roll of hard tissues in a bundle in that area? It could be a knotted muscle, or a stressed ligament. When you move it could be rolling and flexing in a odd way causing the popping, pain, and inflammation. I had this in my shoulder under my shoulder blade and had to have a massage therapist work out the knots. Hopefully this might be the issue and not something internal.

It is possible that you are experiencing a large gas bubble(s) pushing through a tight turn in your intestines. I have intestines that are a bit twisted and have felt the same sort of thing on occasion.  If things don't improve be sure to mention it to your doctor though.

you might be right. I have a tortuous colon apparently I'm not sure if you're cOlon actually goes as high as your ribs though that seems to be where most of my pressure is.

Thanks rmj when I first rang up it was we can't do it without , but I talked to a lovely lady and she sorted it all out for me, so it pays to be persistent , I would have had to decline if I hadn't been given the water option too , so yes I'm glad too 😌

I’m so glad they listened to your concerns!  I hope you get some answers from the MRI.

Had my MRI today I didn't have to have the manitol with my allergy's , I just had a litre of water , they were great with my concerns , so let's see if anything comes of if will keep posted once I have results 👍

Thank you ,it’s been a long road for me for having both now ,what upsets the most is that if they discovered that I also have cealiac earlier I would not have injested gluten if I was aware. Double whammy.
