Truly Gluten Fee (i.e. no cross contamination)

We will be headed to San Antonio next month and while I know a lot of restaurants have a "gluten free" menu, my concern is cross contamination. Are there any restaurants that are gluten free with little to no chance of cross contamination? Typically these options are prepared in a separate part of the kitchen. Thanks in advance for any help!

When we went on vacation, I prepped and packed herbs and spices into individually labeled sandwich bags and brought a crock pot with us. I used the hotel microwave to cook vegetables. We also purchased light weight plastic camping bowls, plate and sporks. A lot of prep work was made, but turned out very rewarding. I just wasn't ready to test out restaurants.

If the link works it should be a list of dedicated gluten free facilities.

I went to San Antonio for my birthday. Only place I trusted was a sushi restaurant that is VERY allergen friendly. Think it is called sumo?  Other then That I brought a bunch of microwave cookware, omelette makers, steam trays, and a small griddle. And a bunch of veggies, egg whites, my own gluten-free birthday cake I made myself. Made a bunch of steam pouches by putting small amounts of meat, and alot of veggies in a seasoning blend and a tiny bit of vinegar/juice/liquid smoke in vacuum seal bags. You just take the bags poke holes in them put them on a plate wrapped in paper towels and zapp it and make instant meals. Stir Fries, steam pouch meals and omelettes. I treated myself to some high end lump crab meat in most my meals for those days.....I love San Antonio and go there every year for my birthday.

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
