I don’t know how far I’m reaching but does anyone get their nails done in a salon? Fake or just shellac paint? How is this process. Is it safe to just go in and get my nails done. I do have a habit of touching my mouth with my fingers.

I hope this isn't true for you, but in addition to having celiac disease and dh, I have several contact allergies to chemicals in many every day products. I have researched and the only shellac nail polish that I can use is CND. There are a few regular nail polishes that I can also use, but I have to read ingredient lists like a chemist!

Aww that totally sucks! No I don’t have any additional contact allergies I just didn’t know if getting my nails done would cause a gluten exposure. Do nail salons use CND? I’m so unfamiliar with nail stuff I just wanted to get them done for my bday

      Burning Sensation in the small intestine

      I have a very timid tummy after 13 years of strict gluten free. If I try to eat like my pals, I burn.

      No red meat

      I particularly try to get lots of red meat, mostly beef. I'm slightly anemic, which isn't uncommon in celiacs. Red meat is healthy for us and the environment.

      Terrible Neurological Symptoms

      I had lyme disease for about 14 years and was also diagnosed with celiac disease about midway through. I had bad leaky gut food and chemical sensitivity like crazy dental issues I had to go on a really strict diet for 4 years to heal my gut and see a lyme Dr to heal the lyme disease Both sides of my family are celiac
