Lettuce goes right through me, too, but iceberg salad for instance doesn't. So it might depend on which green leafy veggie you use for salads.

I like a banana and a very ripe pear for breakfast, those seem very easy on my tummy first thing in the morning.

Blended veg can taste a bit gruesome!

What you can do is blend your veg then freeze it in an icecube tray.

Once frozen add about 4 cubes to your liquid fruit smoothie and blend again. You won't then be able to taste the veg! :)

I made my first smoothie this morning, all I had in the house was a banana, some frozen blueberrys then I threw in some ice and added soy milk, first sip was not so great so I added a little sugar,it wass really good. I hope the say milk was gluten-free..it says "natural Flavors" I bought the store brand.

thanks for the help :D

I'll check the gluten-free flours and see if bean flours added, the gluten-free flours mixes and breads don't sit well, they seem very heavy

Hi there. I couldn't help but empathize with you. I was having severe stomach cramps, gas and bloating up until 6 months ago. My GP put me on the food allergy / sensitivity diet where you eliminate the most widely known foods that people are allergic to, like wheat, eggs, corn, dairy, soy, chocolate, nuts, seafood, etc. She told me to add foods that contain natural digestive enzymes like papayas and took me off meats. I added healthy oils, like extra virgin olive oil, to my diet to keep me regular. Also taking Beano before each meal, 3 tablets for me, is helping. I'm having trouble with staying away from the foods that I know cause me gas and stomach cramps, but I'm not in constant pain anymore or having bouts of D.

Good luck ... marcia

This treatment looks promising. Its aim is to provoke immune tolerance of gluten, possibly curing the disease. It passed the phase 2 trial with flying colours, and I came across a post on Reddit by one of the study volunteers. Apparently, the results were good enough that the company is applying for fast track approval.  Anokion Announces Positive Symptom Data from its Phase 2 Trial Evaluating KAN-101 for the Treatment of Celiac Disease https://www.reddit.com/r/Celiac/comments/1krx2wh/kan_101_trial_put_on_hold/

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.
