Gluten Free Brooks Chili Replacement

I make my dad’s chili which is a very simple recipe. It’s a comfort food for me and I’ve been eating a lot of it since the quarantine and getting laid off. However it’s been making me sick and it’s because I realized one of the ingredients, Brooks Quick Chili Mix, has wheat flour in it. I hadn’t eaten this chili since before being diagnosed. Does anybody have a very simple, easy chili bean solution they use? I don’t need anything fancy, or something I have to invest a ton of time in. I’m not opposed to making my own bean mix either, I’m just worried about seasoning them. Al l recipes I find are super complicated or whole recipes when all I need are the beans. I don’t want to change the rest of the recipe at all. Any advice or suggestions? Recipe for context: 1 can brooks chili mix 1 can brooks diced tomatoes 1 can tomato paste Chili powder Ground beef

There are a few chili mixes out in the market that are labeled gluten free — Shilling and Carroll Shelby (excellent by the way).  Perhaps you can order online.  If not, make a mix from scratch.  Lots of recipes on the internet/YouTube.

Read the history of this site.  If you eat this chili, you might be inspired to race cars.  ?

Thank you both. I haven't had access to the test results but will get them and post here.

The ulcers are prepyloric ulcers. Not sure if that makes any difference.

Duodenal ulcers are not uncommon either and often result from H.Pylori infections. https://www.healthdirect.gov.au/duodenal-ulcer

I had what was termed "lesions," and normally ulcers are in the stomach, rather than the small intestines. I'm not sure why they would want you to have her continue to eat gluten, since she had a positive blood test, but as her doctor said, if she is uncomfortable and having symptoms why not have her go gluten-free at this point? If her symptoms improve, it would be another indicator that she has celiac disease and/or gluten sensitivity. This article has some detailed information on how to be 100% gluten-free, so it may be helpful (be sure to also read the comments section.):
