Food For Life Gluten-Free?

Rate this topic

Recommended Posts

Hello, everyone!

I was at Whole Foods recently, and noticed this gluten-free bread from a brand called Food For Life. I thought their ingredients were really good compared to every gluten-free bread I've seen. I can't have any animal products due to allergies, so I was really excited to try them, until I noticed that there was no Gluten Free certification, and at the back, it mentions that the product is separated from wheat using "good manufacturing practices." This got me really concerned about the product, since gluten makes me very ill, like most people with celiac disease. Here is where my question comes up- I noticed that the brand that sells the product is a sponsor of this website, so I wanted to know if it was safe to eat. Thanks everyone, and have a great rest of your day.

They are indeed a sponsor, and have been around for over 20 years and are one of the original prepared gluten-free breads. Many of their breads are also made using sprouted gluten-free breads. I've eaten their breads for many years without any issues, and I've not seen any complaints, product recalls, or other issues about the company.
