Sharonv, what specifically is your concern about this stove? Is your concern that is will be used to cook both gluten-containing food and gluten-free food? You are not giving us much to go on here.

Yes, that the air will circulate and contaminate gluten free food, I may have been reading too much on Facebook group where they say once gluten food is used in a portable air fryer you can no longer use it for gluten-free foods

The only problem I see with it would be adequately cleaning the LG air fryer tray because of it's mesh design. However, you could get two of them and use one only for gluten-free food. I wouldn't be worried about fumes contaminating your gluten-free food.

Airborne gluten is not beyond the pale--think flour in a bakery. But it is not something I worry about day-to-day. Clean regularly, and always place gluten-free items on the top rack. Gluten, such as crumbs, may travel downward due to gravity. It won't rise.

This article has some detailed information on how to be 100% gluten-free, so it may be helpful (be sure to also read the comments section.):

Wheat flour is fortified with vitamins in the U.S. as a part of USDA policy. Gluten free facsimile products are not fortified. There is no government mandate for such. When you remove wheat flour by going gluten free, you may be removing a significant source of vitamins.
