Help with test results

I am sooo confused by these test results. My tissue transglutaminase IG-A came back 236.17 but the ranges listed are 84.50-499. Ive seen people with an IG-A of 102 that is positive for celiac. I don’t know if they are running any additional panels. Any interpretations please?

From what you've just posted I don't have enough info to be sure how to interpret your results. Normally 236 tTG would be high on most scales I've seen, but your results should say something like <100 normal....any change  you can post an image of the results? Alternatively you should also ask your doctor of course.

I think 236.17 is a total IgA result, not a tissue transglutaminase IgA result.  84.5-499 is a reasonable range for total IgA.  Tissue transglutaminase IgA results do not have weight per volume (milligrams per deciliter i.e. mg/dL) units.  There was another forum member recently whose results were laid out in a very confusing manner on the printout and it was difficult for her to tell which was which.  Perhaps you could post a photo of your results?

      New issue

      I was taking medicine for sibo but it was not agreeing with my stomach at all.Was on gabapentin but it amps me up.I was taking in morning because it wasn't allowing me to sleep.This has always been an issue with medicine and me.Even going to dentist, the good shot that numbs you once, I can't take because it makes my heart beat fast and I get the shakes...

      I showed one doctor I went to once because completely clueless of celiac disease and yes that one was connected to a well known hospital and she said oh thats just a bunch of people that think they are celiac coming together. I said um no they have doctors and knowledge behind what is being written. So bay area is Downplaying this site! SADLY

      Do Gluten Enzymes actually work?

      If you successfully digest gluten with enzyme supplements so it won’t give you side effects, your challenge won’t be worthwhile because the digested fragments of gluten also won’t stimulate antibody production or cause intestinal damage.

      You can search this site for prescriptions medications, but will need to know the manufacturer/maker if there is more than one, especially if you use a generic version of the medication: To see the ingredients you will need to click on the correct version of the medication and maker in the results, then scroll down to "Ingredients and Appearance"...
