I was wondering if someone could help me figure some things out. I am new and I am trying my hardest to educate myself.

Are these safe:

soybean oil

partially hydrogenated soybean

canola oil

Also is Kraft philadelphia plain whipped cream cheese safe?

Safe? if you mean gluten free, yes those are gluten-free. I suggest you print out this list:

https://www.celiac.com/st_prod.html?p_prodi...-28106095775.9b

And keep it with you while in the store it realy helps get you started. :)

Dunno for sure, but with Kraft products you just need look at the indgredinets, it will always mention wheat, barly, rye, malt or oats by name if there is any.

Thanks for the link! I just printed it out. I''m starting a folder of print outs to keep in my car.

Today I had an ensure drink(nutritional drink) and it said it is gluten free. But I had a reaction after I had it. I just noticed now that the ingredients include soy lecithin and soy protein isolate. So maybe I'm allergic to soy. I wonder....

Maybe I;ll drink another one tomorrow and see what happens.

Also might have to watch out for dariy. The part of the body responislbe for digesting dairy is often damaged by celiac disease and you may need ot heal a bit before you can tolerate dairy... good news is the dairy issue is not permant (assuming it was caused by celiac disease) and once your healed you can have dairy agian.

I'm noticing on the ensure bottle it says lactose free... but at the bottom of the ingredients it says contains milk and soy ingredients. So I bet the milk part gave me my reaction. That is very good news that the dairy issue isn't permanent! I just hope it's not the soy that bothers me.

My daughter was df for 4 months and now that she is healed can have it again.

I just saw somewhere on here that Ensure may have oats in it. Be sure to check the label.

"Conclusions: The urinary iodine level was significantly lower in women with postmenopausal osteoporosis, and iodine replacement may be important in preventing osteoporosis"  Body iodine status in women with postmenopausal osteoporosis Low iodine can cause thyroid problems, but Iodine deficiency will not show up in thyroid tests.  Iodine is important for healing, its job is to kill off defective and aging cells (Apoptosis). Skin, brain fog, nails, muscle tone all inproved when I started taking 600 mcg (RDA 150 - 1000 mcg) of Liquid Iodine drops. Some with dermatitis herpetiformis, Iodine exacerbates the rash.  I started at 1 drop (50 mcg) and worked up to 12 drops, but I don't have dermatitis herpetiformis.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and I found myself giggling with happiness as I read how your body reached such spring! And I hope that your current journey is also successful!! Definitely starting the food diary! So many amazing advices. And it’s very scary. It really hits all our soft spots as well as our confidence system. Most doctors I went thought I was underage despite being in my late 20s. Right now I look like am I twelve, but is also this body that’s taking so much, so I might as well love it too! Going to make the necessary changes and stay in this path. Thank you again! 🫶

Thank you so much for the information and kind message! Reading this transformed how I’ve been viewing my efforts and progress. Guess there’s still a lot to celebrate and also heal 😌  Yes, I’ve been taking it! Just recently started taking a multivitamin supplement and separated vitamin D! I also took chewable Iron polymaltose for ferritin deficiency 2 months ago but was unable to absorb any of it.  Thank you again! Hearing such gentle words from the community makes my body and heart more patient and excited for the future.
