I have had long hair for the last three years and chopped it all off two weeks ago. Now I actually have to use products in my hair to style it and I didn't realize that the ones I got had gluten in them <_< ... Anyone have any suggestions for a product that will work on really fine hair? I tried some Paul Mitchell things that didn't work (now that I look, they have gluten in them too  ...). The stuff that works well is Got2B Glued Mousse but it definetly has hydrolyzed wheat protein in it... Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Mandy

Giovanni has a good line of hair care products. I think all of their stuff is gluten-free but you should still check the ingredients...

you should try the toni&guy line. they will list any gluten, i use a ton of their stuff, they have a wax stick and other gels that work great for me, I have really short hair too!

Hi Mandy, You could try Bed Head by TIGI. All their products are gluten-free! They have a wide range of hair styling products!

i remember reading this post about bed head, so i decided to double check, cause i know they use a lot of gunk in their products.....so just an FYI all their products are NOT gluten free. they will send u a list of the products ingredients for whichever one you request. For instance there is wheat amino acid and wheat protein clearly listed on the lables of some products.

Welcome to the forum, @Jay Heying! What is the reason your doctor is recommending this?

Hello everyone, this my first time to this website and I need some help. I’m 65 years old and have been living with Celiacs for about 15 years. My doctor has suggested I start taking a probiotic named  Integrative Pro-Flora-Concentrae. Has anyone else used this probiotic specifically? If this one isn’t celiac friendly can you recommend another please. Thank you.

If a Celiac person is successful in following a gluten-free diet, they can go into remission.   They may not have a reaction to gluten without a precipitating event like an injury or infection or even emotional or mental stress.   Following a strict gluten-free diet at home, then indulging in gluten containing products abroad without a reaction can be explained by this remission.
