New Grist Rocks!

Hey all...

Just wanted to pass on that I contacted the Lakefront Brewery

and this is the response I received back from them regarding

New Grist:

We do not have a distributor in New Jersey yet. However, you can call Clubs of America at 1-800-800-9122 or The Corkscrew at 217-337-7704 to have our beer shipped to you. I hope this helps.

Thanks,

Kaila

I have had the Ramapo Valley and New Grist, and in my opinion, the New Grist is better. I'll probably buy both just for variety, but New Grist tastes like a beer that I would have enjoyed even before I was diagnosed. It's hoppy, which I really like in a beer. I called The Corkscrew, and it is expensive: $1.39 per bottle plus $.25 for each bottle for shipping. They have to call me back to actually place the order, so I'll keep everyone posted how it goes.

Faegan, Thank you for this info. I am not a beer drinker, but have been hoping for a beer for some beer -batter fish. This sounds like just the ticket! There are a couple of recipes I would like to try but was unsure about the beer. Good job :)

Robbin...

No problem... let us know how the fish tastes... I'm a huge fish/chips

fan! I've got a lot of New England blood pumping through my veins

and can't say enough good things about baked or fried cod!

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
