We're planning a trip to Hershey, PA, and I was just wondering if anybody has ever tried to eat gluten-free there! Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated--thanks!

We're taking the kids to Hershey in two weeks. I spoke at length to one of their dining customer service reps and you can eat gluten-free while you're there. If you go on the Hershey website and call the 800 number for dining information, they will put you through to the head chef to discuss your dietary needs. He did call me back after I left him a message, but I wasn't home. I planned to get in touch with him this week. I'll give him a call tomorrow and let you know how I make out.

I went to Hershey about a month ago -- I started a thread in late June when I was planning the trip.

I did not eat in the park - but had also called their food services dept. and they were very helpful on the phone. THey got in touch with me within 24 hours after I left a message.

Had a great time at the park - and visited Indian Echo Caverns, too (neat tour and VERY cool and comfortable way down in the caverns)
