Have you tried goat cheese? I put that on my pizza, and it doesn't bother me like cow's milk cheese.

if you have Donato's pizza near you- they have a no dough pizza. I have it a lot. I had contacted their corporate office. You have to eat the red sauce and not the white. The crust is made from rice crackers.

Does goat cheese have casein or lactose?

I buy Kinnikinnick frozen pizza crusts and make my own using organic tomato sauce and soy mozzarella. Yum!

Really...Soy Mozzerella? Does it melt okay? Is there a certain brand you stick with?

The brand I have in my fridge is Lissannetti - SoySations. It doesn't melt as well as real mozz. but it does melt. I certainly miss the stringiness of the regular, but it does taste very good!

Hooray!!! -=)

I've found it at both Whole Foods and Wild Oats, if you have either of those near you!! =)

I myself am a pizza addict. So, I was THRILLED when I realized that I could still have it!!!

amy's new rice crust pizza is also casein free. i haven't tried it because i make everything myself from scratch, but i think a few people on here have.

mind if I ask if it tastes like real mozzarella?

for american cheese I use lactaid brand, just like the milk and ice cream its the real stuff

I use the Chebe pizza crust with no cheese, just sauce and lots of toppings (gluten-free, DF, SF, CF, etc., etc., etc.). Instead of 2 pieces, I usually eat 4 because the no cheese.

It tastes more like "real" mozzarella when it's melted. The smell right out of the package is a bit funky... and it tastes a little plasticy before it's baked. But, I think the taste changes with melting.

I've never seen lactaid brand cheese. Where in the world can I find that??? My daughter would be THRILLED!!!

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
