I made it 5 months this time.

I'm not sure what it was, maybe you guys can help?

That night I ate:

2 frozen Amy's meals (I was on a 12 hour shift, so I don't eat before I go to work but I eat 2 meals there)

Genisoy garlic and onion soy crisps

applesauce (that can't be it)

too many gummi Lifesavers candies

Any ideas? Of course it could just have been cc from the breakroom, but I can' tbe sure.

Hmmmm, well I just posted about the Genisoy crisps causing a problem for me. Wonder if there's a glutened batch out there?

Really? Hm....Which flavor did you get? I've eaten them before without a problem, but I haven't had them for a long time.

people have been having CC issues with the Amy's food. Could be that.

Mine were plain sea salt, but I'm also wondering if there is a specific problem for me with soy flour. Other soy products haven't bothered me, but MiDel gingersnaps do & they have soy flour too. Of course they could have been cc too as they're made in a wheat facility... Who knows, I may be barking up the wrong tree, this is a fairly recent issue.

I wont even touch the Amys stuff anymore. I got sick too many times from them. Which really stinks for me b/c they were a quick easy meal on the go for me.

I hope you feel better!

Welcome to the forum, @yellowstone! The most common ones seem to be dairy (casein), oats, eggs, soy and corn. "Formed" meat products (because of the "meat glue" used to hold their shape) is a problem for some. But it can be almost anything on an individual basis as your sensitivity to rice proves, since rice is uncommonly a "cross reactor" for celiacs. Some celiacs seem to not do well with any cereal grains.

What foods can trigger a response in people with gluten sensitivity? I've read that there are foods that, although they don't contain gluten, can cause problems for people with gluten sensitivity because they contain proteins similar to gluten that trigger a response in the body. I've seen that other cereals are included: corn, rice... also chicken, casein. I would like to know what other foods can cause this reaction, and if you have more information on the subject, I would like to know about it. Right now, I react very badly to rice and corn. Thank you.
