I've eaten at two different Maggianos ... the chef comes to your table and discusses your food allergies, then goes back to the kitchen and makes your dinner himself. Right now I'm not eating out till I start feeling better, but I will make the exception for Maggianos. They do have gluten-free pasta, but only rotinni style. I usually get the steak. He reduces the veal sauce to be used instead of the regular sauce. I order asparagus or spinach. I also get mashed potatoes, which he makes by hand with olive oil and basil since I'm also casein-free.

My daughters split a pasta dish last time we were there and loved it.

I ate there when I was there in July. I got really sick :( and right away :( the chef did NOT come out, the manager came over, and he said he would "take care of everything" and that they had "rice pasta" and someone else on here said that they had been there and it was good, so I took a chance, but I didn't make it very far into the meal before I had to run to the bathroom.

The manager was kinda snotty about it too! He said "everything was gluten free!" and I said "well, I didn't just get sick for fun, SOMETHING was cross contaminated or something, but I just want to leave" cause he kept wanting to bring me something else to eat (which I guess is nice of him). Anyway, I had a VERY BAD EXPERIENCE...but if you want to try them, go earlier in the day on a week day. I think we went on a Friday Night (I did call ahead and talk to the manager, but I think they got really busy and there was some cross contamination).

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
