Good Breakfast Cereal

I have a good way to make sweetened breakfast cereal. Line a baking sheet with foil, pour some organic puffed corn on it, then lightly drizzle with steens 100% pure cane syrup. Roll the puffed corn around until all of them are lightly coated with the steens. Don't use too much or the excess will burn. Bake in oven at 350, stirring around every few minutes. Just bake them until the syrup cooks onto the corn. Take out of the oven and let them cool. They should feel smooth and look somewhat shiny. They taste like that cereal that the "Sugar Bear" advertises but I can't remember the name of

You are welcome. I am new to this posting stuff. I have a Mac G4 computer and it is not letting me post any user profiles. I am from Texas. I am just now discovering that I can not eat wheat. I have not had any testing done yet (no insurance) but can probably get the initial test done soon. I got Betty Hagmans books at library and have tried the recipes for featherlight bread (yum!) pizza crusts (respectable) and a brownie recipe with sour cream chocolate frosting(very good) I love to cook and bake and I think I can even get used to this no wheat thing, given some time. Anything is better than the NAUSEA that I have been having!

      Thank you so very much Scott.  Just having someone understand my situation is so very helpful.  If I have one more family member ask me how my little itchy skin thing is going and can't you just take a pill and it will go away and just a little bit of gluten can't hurt you!!!! I think I will scream!!

You are not failing; you are fighting an incredibly steep battle. For a more specific direction, connecting with a dedicated celiac support group (online or locally) can be invaluable, as members exchange the most current, real-world tips for avoiding cross-contamination that you simply won't find in a pamphlet. You have already done the hardest part by getting a correct diagnosis. Now, the community can help you navigate the rest. If you have DH you will likely also want to avoid iodine, which is common in seafoods and dairy products, as it can exacerbate symptoms in some people.
