As you know I have had issues with dry skin issues for a while already this year, but have mostly solved that with the Cliniderm lotion. BUT this week I noticed my DH is getting a lot worse and there's some that has developed on my wrist? (maybe because I usually wear my watched on my left hand). But yeah I dont know, anyone else get their DH flare up more or show up in new places during winter?

Generally speaking, DH calms down during the winter. I know I took dapsone a whole lot less often in the winter. Are you sure it's DH and not some other skin condition?

Are you sure it's not contact dermatitis? If you're reacting where your watch is, you may be allergic to something like nickel. Nickel in the diet of someone who is allergic/sensitive (such as in certain foods and multivitamins) could have ongoing reactions anywhere on the body as well.

Hmm well my watch has a velcro strap so none of the metal actually touches me. and I dont wear any jewelry at all. but it could be contact dermatitis somehow, never thought about it!

Your response on this matter is what I expect. You’ve had a similar episode years ago, but this one is lasting longer!

I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?

Thank you for the links to the articles.  Interesting reading. I'll be telling my brother in law because he has a lot of pain
