After 5 Days With No Power...

We had a terrible windstorm last Thursday that knocked power out to most of our area - I heard that over a million households were in the dark on Thursday night. We got ours back on right before dinner time tonight. We didn't suffer too much though - we have a generator that allowed us to keep the furnace going off and on, keep the lights on, a little TV and even bake cookies for the power crew last night. (3 ingredient peanut butter cookies with red and green M & M's). I did get on for about 5 minutes at my sister in law's house on Friday, but feel way behind reading posts. I perused a little bit and see requests for all kinds of recipes that I make all the time - I hope I have time tomorrow to get on again, in between making a gingerbread house and all the other holiday preparations.

Wow!! Glad that your power is back on now!!!

Welcome back. I've noticed that most people still without power are running out of a sense of humor about it. Glad your family survived the extended camping trip.

Glad to hear you have power back! We were only out for a little under 24 hours (I know, lucky us - we seem to be in some special spot just south of Bellevue that was luckier than half of Bellevue). We had a holiday party on Saturday, so I'm glad it did come back on, because everyone thought we were cancelling!

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
