Peeling Skin On Palms

Does any one out there suffer from VERY frequent skin peeling on their palms? Wondering if this could be another odd celiac connection??:wacko:

Sometimes peeling skin on the palms can be a sign of strep. I had a student once who had a bad strep infection and her hands started to peel. But it could be another sign of Celiac because there seems to be so many!

My hands peel from every dish soap except Dawn non ultra. Palmolive is the worst for me ...

I would get peeling hands and just found out that it is from a yeast infection. Some ointment seems to have solved the problem.

I know someone who gets fungal infections on their skin. The only sign of this is that their skin peels badly.

I am wondering if it is ezecma or psorisis. My husband and his mother both suffer from psorisis. It is our olderst son(6) and they have been doing this off and on for a few years now. He is in a peeling cycle now and I am afraid he is going to pick at them them until they bleed or get infected. It seems worse right now than it has been.

I just need to spend the $ for the copay to have the ped tell me to take him to a dermatoligist(sp?). I just hate the run around to get to where I need to be in the first place? Ya know!?

      Peanut Butter cookies - on the crisp side. approx 20 smallish cookies 1 C plus 2 tblsp rounded. 'natural' peanut butter ( the kind you have to stir to blend the PB & oils).... I know, it's a pain!! 1/2 c granulated sugar ....plus 2 tblsp dark brown sugar 1/4 c olive oil... plus 1 tblsp 1 large egg .....and 1 tsp vanilla ...

      No red meat

      I did talk to the nurse and she asked who told me no red meat. I explained the person who called with the results of my blood work. That was last week. She told me the doctor was on vacation and would be back this week and she would talk to him and have someone call me this week. I have not received a call yet. I will call them back Monday as a reminder...

      I shop a fair bit with Azure Standard.       Peanut Butter cookies - on the crisp side.   approx 20 smallish cookies  1 C  plus 2 tblsp rounded. 'natural' peanut butter ( the kind you have to stir to blend the PB & oils)....  I know, it's a pain!! 1/2 c granulated sugar ....plus 2 tblsp dark brown sugar 1/4 c olive oil... plus 1 tblsp 1 large egg .....and 1 tsp vanilla 2 tsp cinnamon - optional but is yummy with the PB mix the above.  In another bowl mix the following dry ingredients: 1 cup brown rice flour  ( I use this  flour as it leaves no yucky after taste in my cookies & lb cakes..... and coffee cake, I buy it at the "Bulk Barn" here in Canada....... states side try health food stores??? I'm not sure where you can buy bulk food that also carries gluten free flours. 1/2 tsp baking soda.....1/4 tsp salt   (I use the pink sea salt) Mix well or sift, then mix with wet ingredients. heat oven to 350f, line baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll about 2 tblsp dough between your hands, place on cookie sheet and press down  with a fork.   The flatter the cookie the crispier it is.     Bake 13-14 min  When done leave on baking sheet till cool. I buy some foods on your list from Rani. I've been happy with their products. https://ranibrand.com/ Azure and Rani often use terms that skirt around explicit "gluten free". I've contacted both of them and gained some comfort but it's always hard to be certain. FWIW, my IgA antibody levels are very low now, (after including their foods in my diet) so it appears I am being successful at avoiding gluten.
