How Many Have Celiac/gluten Intolerance With No Celiac Specific Gene?

I am very curious about the Celiac genes. I believe there are 2 main genes identified. I have never had my genes tested, but tested positive for Celiac through bloodwork. I never had the biopsy. My son tested positive for gluten intolerance, but does not have the main Celiac genes. I am just curious to get an idea about everyone's genes. I know not everyone knows their genes, but if you do, please post. Thanks!

There are two main Celiac genes identified. The vast majority (90-95%+) have HLA DQ2. Fewer (~5%) have HLA DQ8. However, there are some---- 1-3% or so ----- of Celiacs that do not have either gene. The book in my signature has a great chapter on Celiac/genes, if you are interested. However, it doesn't really cover non Celiac gluten intolerance/genes/etc.

I have a Celiac gene: HLA DQ8.

I have one of each. DQ2 for the celiac gene.

I have DQ1 and DQ3, which are not the main genes for celiac disease, but I do have celiac disease. So I"m one of the 1% who does not have the main genes but does have celiac.
