Which Are Possible Symptoms?

My 10 year old is due to have a biopsy in Feb in early Feb.

I am feeling doubtful they will diagnose him as Celiac because his antibodies all returned negative, however he blood test had irregularities (slightly low WCC and low Lymphocytes) and has 2 DQ2 Alleles and 2 DQ8 Alleles which certainly puts him at risk.

My son has some of the usual symptoms such as nausea, mouth ulcers, stomach pains, although not all the time.

But he also has the following symptoms and I was wondering if they could also be related to celiac?

tingling/numbness in his feet, and less often the hands.

feels the cold (eg: if the kids all go swimming he nearly turns blue with cold and takes a LONG time to warm up afterwards despite being a VERY hot day)

pebbly pooh, sometimes a little stringy? (sorry if TMI)

I really value all your replies as I love to soak in the information you can give me and it also gives me new avenues to look at on the internet.

This site is such a wonderful resource for celiac information and I love to learn what you all know.

Thankyou,

Peta

This is one I have struggled with. My only symptom other than the stomach./gi grossness. But its been bad. Sometimes I have a hard time doing normally day to day stuff, even walking. Luckily it's rare to be that bad, and it doesn''t last that long normally.

This article has some detailed information on how to be 100% gluten-free, so it may be helpful (be sure to also read the comments section.):

Wheat flour is fortified with vitamins in the U.S. as a part of USDA policy. Gluten free facsimile products are not fortified. There is no government mandate for such. When you remove wheat flour by going gluten free, you may be removing a significant source of vitamins.
