Those symptoms ususaly tell me I ned to get some sleep and take something to bring the temp down. What ever usually works for you. Take care of yourself,,,no one else will (my motto)

Hope you feel better in the morning.!

B4Y,

I would go to my doctor if I had an extreme ear ache. Throw in the mild sore throat, nasty fever, feeling really terrible and there's no question what I would do. I would call in sick tomorrow, call my doctor as soon as they open in the morning, and get an appointment asap. Sounds like you may need some antibiotics.

best regards, lm

Have you been tested for strep? What about bronchitis?

I would leave the fever be unless it's very high ... they are there for a reason, but look for what's causing it.

Get lots of rest. Eat some chicken soup with lots of garlic and onions! Drink plenty of fluids.

I'd definately try to figure out if it's bacterial or viral.

Hope you feel better soon.

Oats naturally contain a protein called avenin, which is similar to the gluten proteins found in wheat, barley, and rye. While avenin is generally considered safe for most people with celiac disease, some individuals, around 5-10% of celiacs, may also have sensitivity to avenin, leading to symptoms similar to gluten exposure. You may fall into this category, and eliminating them is the best way to figure this out. Some people substitute gluten-free quinoa flakes for oats if they want a hot cereal substitute. If you are interested in summaries of scientific publications on the topic of oats and celiac disease, we have an entire category dedicated to it which is here: https://www.celiac.com/celiac-disease/oats-and-celiac-disease-are-they-gluten-free/
