Great Brocery Store In Bloomington, Mn

I just visited a new grocery store on Penn Ave S and 90th St in Bloomington, MN. It is called Fresh and Natural. It is awesome. I have never seen so many gluten-free products in one place! I have shopped Trader Joe's and Whole Foods and this store puts their stores to shame. They don't just have one tiny section of gluten-free products, they have shelf after shelf of them. Their gluten-free products are easily marked with a red arrow on the shelf. Check it out if you live in the twin cities. It is well worth the visit. If you already shop Trader Joe's or Whole Foods, you really need to see what is really available. It was like all the products that I see on line were available in one place! Check out their web site and see if they have a store near you. I know that I sound like an advertisement for this store but I was blown away. I intend to make it MY grocery store!!!!!

Hi Sparkles,

I agree! I have done all of my specialty shopping at Fresh and Natural Foods in Shoreview since I went gluten-free. I have not found any other store that even comes close to having as many products as they do. Oh, and their Bittersweet Bakery monster cookies and carrot cake are fabulous!

I didn't notice Bittersweet Bakery things there. I go to the Bittersweet Bakery in Eagan and do love the cookies!!! I will be thrilled to find those cookies at Fresh and Natural. Have you ever tried "Madwoman" frozen pizza. Fresh and Natural carries them at the Bloomington store. They are a Mnpls bakery located on Nicolet and 48th (or so). Anyway, their pizzas and pizza crusts are delicious. I am just so excited that I can now go grocery shopping and actually find real gluten-free foods. I was so disappointed in both Trader Joe's and Whole Foods. Now I have a store that I can shop very close to home. Now that I have found all this gluten-free food, my next project is figuring out now NOT to binge on it!!!!!

haha - I just discovered the madwoman pizza crusts last week - OMG those are fabulous! It is hard not to binge on those :P

I didn't even know there was a whole Bittersweet Bakery in Eagan - I have just always found their products at FNF. I will have to check out the bakery next time I am in that area!

But M&M's contain milk, and would not be at all like a Tootsie Roll.

I appreciate you validating me because medical is an issue and it's not ok at all they they do this. Some days I just want to call the news media and just call out these doctors especially when they are supposed to be specialist Downplaying when gluten-free when they should know gluten-free is false negative. Now dealing with other issues and still crickets for disability because I show no signs of celiac BECAUSE IM GLUTENFREE! Actively dealing with sibo and skin issues.Depression is the key because thats all they know, im depressed because medical has caused it because of my celiac and related issues. I should have never ever been employed as a bus driver. After 3 years still healing and ZERO income desperately trying to get better but no careteam for celiac other than stay away frim wheat! Now im having care because my head is affected either ms or meningioma in go in tomorrow again for more scans.I know im slowly dying and im looking like a disability chaser

M&M Peanuts. About the same calories and sugar while M&M Peanuts have fiber, potassium, iron and protein that Tootsie Rolls ("We are currently producing more than 50 million Tootsie Rolls each day.") don't. Click the links to compare nutritional values.  Both are made with sugar, not high fructose corn syrup.  I use them as a gluten free substitute for a peanut butter sandwich.  Try her on grass fed, pasture fed milk. While I get heartburn at night from commercial dairy milk, I do not from 'grassmilk'.

I see it everyday on my feeds.  They go out and buy gluten-free processed products and wonder why they can't heal their guts.  I don't think they take it as a serious immune disease. They pick up things off the internet which is so far out in left field.  Some days I would just like to scream.  So much better when we had support groups and being able to teach them properly. I just had an EMA blood test because I haven't had one since my Doctor moved away.  Got test results today, doctor ordered a D3 vitamin test.  Now you know what  type of doctors we have.  Now I will have to pay for this test because she just tested my D3 end of December, and still have no idea about my EMA.
