Can anyone recommend a good breath freshener? I was using tic tacs but these have gluten in them. What do you guys use? I saw a thread where a guy said skittles are gluten free so that should be great.

The bigger the brand the better guys.

Thanks

Altoids. They even help soothe my stomach on bad days!

Eclipse mints. They taste great and they don't leave a funky taste in your mouth.

What ingredient in Tic Tacs contains gluten? I read the ingredients again and don't see it. I've been letting my daughter have them and she is allergic to both wheat and gluten. :(

The last time I talked to Skittles manufacturer on the phone, they told me all Skittles were gluten-free except for the mint ones.

I would go with the Altoids, although I hear some sizes of them are not gluten-free. They are labeled, though.

I'm not sure mate. I remember reading it somewhere but I can't find any info on the tic tacs site or an email address I can talk to. Let me know if you find anything because I'd love to know.

Well, maybe your source was wrong? I can't see anything on the package that would lead me to believe there is gluten in them.

Re. Altoids: I think it's the "small" having wheat. I know that they have artificial sweetners in the gums.

Open Original Shared Link - I would never trust wikipedia as the final word on gluten-free, but I think this is copied off packaging and probably answer basic question. PLEASE CHECK packaging!

I was so excited to find these were gluten-free! It was one of those happy moments when some little something you relied in life-PCD is ok! :)

If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly flareups.

No I haven't had one since 2021. I rarely have more than 1 per week.

Sorry, I see that now as I reread your original post. You say you have hemorrhoids "only once a week" now. When I develop hemorrhoids, which is once every few years now, it generally takes 3-4 days for healing to take place. So, it doesn't seem like you could have much relief time between episodes if you have them weekly. Have you had a lower GI scoping done recently?

Everyday I eat a medium to large apple in the morning and a large banana at night. I eat a cup of oatmeal in the evening. The ezekiel wheat bread I eat has a good amount of fiber. I haven't dealt with constipation for at least a year. Most of the time my feces are soft.
