She is getting married in july. I told her how i was not going to be able to eat her cake at her wedding and she was like well what kind can you have, ill see what i can do. I told her not to worry that i would be fine as long as their was alcohol there that i can drink. lol. But I was sitting here thinking how upset she was and we have an aunt and uncle coming from denver for the wedding. I think i am going to call them and have them bring something from debys cafe. I know I wont be the only one there that cant have the cake, since i think it came from this side of the family. Her son has a milk and peanut allergy.

I was just so happy that someone was going to change thngs for me.

That is great to hear. Sounds like you will be having fun at that wedding.

Any chance she would be ok with the idea of you making a safe small cake and bringing it to the wedding?? I love Cherry Brooke Kitchen Chocolate cake mix. It comes Dairy free, Gluten free, egg rfee, and nut free and it tastes amazing!!!! Even my "normal" friends eat it and ask for seconds!

Nice to have an understanding member of the family! Have fun at the wedding.

It sounds like you have a very reasonable GI doctor, who diagnosed you based on family history and symptoms after eating gluten. I would consider you lucky! The other option would be to make yourself very sick by doing weeks of a gluten challenge prior to an endoscopy.

Hi Colleen H,   I suffered with the pins and needles/burning feeling in my legs and feet for at least  6 years until my Nephrologist figured out that I had to go on a low salt diet.  He said my kidneys weren't strong enough to remove the salt.  The simple fix was a diuretic, but that med leaves the uric acid behind, so that wasn't an option.  On the bright side the low salt diet lowered my BP over 20 points and and the pins and needles/burning feeling went away.  Good Luck and hope this helps.

Yes this is very frustrating for me ... not sure what to think.  Feels like I'm having reactions to a lot of things  Now applesauce?? I don't understand 😞

I did ... But aren't we going to be vitamin deficienct if we are not eating due to being sick ?? If the food we eat is gluten free and we have other sensitivities , how do we get out of the cycle??  Thank you

Anyone else get pins and needles. ??? Burning feeling ? Heat makes it so much worse 😔  Winter is here.  I had to lower my thermostat because I couldn't take that hot air feeling 😔  Hopefully it goes away soon
