Nothing bad, it means you have lots of B12 in your system. Do you take a supplement? You want to be scared when it falls to the low end, not the upper end!

There's more than one sort of anemia, there's anemia you can have that is an iron deficiency and there's anemia you can have when you have a B12 or folate deficiency. So it looks like you don't have a B12 deficiency.

Don't be scared but do ask your doctor if you are not taking supplements. If you are taking them you may want stop for a couple of months and then retest the levels. If they have gone down substantially you can restart the supplements. Your intestines may have healed enough for you to be able to "absorb" B12 again and build up the stores your body needs. To my knowledge, but you should check for yourself to be positive, excess B12 is not harmful to the body like excess iron or vitamin A would be.

I did some research on B12 levels in the past few months, and there is basically no toxic level . I believe that you have started absorbing again, and you can alternate your B12's every other day. You might request other levels be drawn of major nutrients like folic acid, iron, ferritin..all these are necessary in producing red blood cells. If iron or ferritn become elevated, then you NEED to stop them right away. Did you say which vitamin amount you were on and for how long??

As others have mentioned, B12 doesn't have a toxicity level. It is important that your levels are high enough. That being said, I'm not sure which lab your doctor uses, but I get my B12 checked frequently for Pernicia anemia (low B12) and the test have always said that normal is 200-1100, so you are only slightly elevated. B12 can stay in your system for decades. If you are taking sublingual B12, then discontinue it completely, you don't need it. Otherwise, it shouldn't cause a major concern for you.

When my wife attempted to open the online card in the store with a cashier, it would not work. We then showed the owner the link to the card, the online receipt that I got upon purchase, and even my bank statement confirming the purchase. That did not satisfy her, since she said she needed the link to open to reveal the gift ID num. They even admitted they had a systems problem around that time.

Was the card itself lost or just the record or both?

We were flabergasted that the owner would not acknowledge a $50 e-gift card I purchased for my celiac wife. My wife tried to open it in the store and was informed there had been a system change and they could not find the record. No worries, she was told, just talk to management. Six months later, and numerous absurd back and forths, and the owner literally informs me there have been "bad actors", so she can't make good on this lost gift card. In other words, she accused me of lying and committing fraud... over $50! Please be careful with your orders and purchases here.

Yes, some people do get withdrawal from gluten but gluten withdrawal doesn't usually cause gut pain. Maybe more like general body aches and discomfort. We have articles on gluten withdrawal on this forum. You might do a search for them. Applesauce is very acidic and some brands have added vitamin C (ascorbic acid) which makes them more acidic. This can damage the stomach lining if you eat it too often. Especially if your stomach lining is already compromised. Ibuprofen inhibits the body's ability to rebuild the stomach's protective mucosal lining. That's why it can cause peptic ulcers. As strange as it may sound, low level irritation/inflammation stimulates the body to rebuild the stomach lining. There are two steps in this rebuilding process known as COX 1 and COX 2. Ibuprofen represses both COX 1 and COX 2. Celecoxcib, a prescription anti inflammatory, inhibits only COX 2, making it less likely to cause damage to the gut lining.

Do you or anyone know alot about ibuprofen  I wasn't sure if I was eating too much apple sauce.   Something is making my pain so much worse  I'm referring to the intense pins and needles in my feet and lower legs.  Jaw actually has tardive dystonia and muscle spasms throughout my back Almost like an opposite effect that a pain reliever would do. I'm fairly new to this. Whatever is going on seems to be worsening  Do people get a withdrawal effect from gluten?  It's extremely painful 😖  I'll post that question or research on the site  Thank you everyone for responding
