Got My Test Results And I Am Worried

My chiropractor just got me the results of my blood tests

The only item that was out of order was the Gliadin Antibody (IGG) where anything above a 17 was positive, I got a 45. But, all of the other numbers were normal.

So, am I wasting my time going to a GI doctor? Will they just tell me it is not enough evidence to be concerned? Just wondering what you all think.

thanks!

It might indicate two things: that you have Celiac Disease or that you have a gluten intolerance. The IgG antigliadin test, while not as great as the others, is STILL included in the panel, so there is some diagnostic help provided in it.

I personally don't think going to the GI is a waste of time because they may be able to identify other potential problems (i.e., instead of gluten related, or on top of gluten related).

for gluten intolerance testing should I go see an allergist?

Thanks!

Dolly, besides the gliadin IgG, what other tests did they run?

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
