Pacific Foods Almond Milk?

Does Pacific Foods unsweetened Vanilla Almond milk have gluten in it?

I bought some yesterday because I'm getting sick of coconut milk in everything, and I've found it to be quite yummy! I'm gluten-free, dairy free, mostly soy free, and low carb- so many gluten-free products don't work for me.

But this morning I'm having GI symptoms again- my stools are watery and it hurts to pass them (it feels like the poop itself is burning my skin.)

So I'm not sure what's going on. Did I get cross-contaminated from leftover pasta my kids left all over the kitchen table/breathed it in when they microwaved it/did I accidentally touch it? Is there gluten in the almond milk? Am I reacting to another ingredient in the almond milk (soy lecithin? carigeean?) Could I be getting symptoms just from the wintery weather?

According to the Open Original Shared Linkwebsite, that is a gluten-free product. It does, however, have soy, which can be a problem for some people.

Hope you get to the bottom of things, and feel better soon.

GliadinX is such a product and many/some report it really helps. In the interest of disclosure, the company that produces it is one of our sponsors.

Occasionally eating out in restaurants means that there is potential cross contamination in spite of ordering a gluten free dish. What enzyme supplements can the forum recommend that would help with potential cross contamination? Something I could take before I start eating. I used to order Wheat Rescue from Microbiome lab, but it is not available anymore.

Hi  - Anyone have any experience with these? I bought them at Costco thinking they must be gluten-free, but now I see Natural Flavors and Spice in the ingredients. There's no Gluten Free labeling. However the Costco site and two other sites say it's gluten free. Anyone know?

Yes, I doubt you can find a perfectly safe restaurant--perhaps a dedicated gluten-free restaurant, but in general, very few of them exist, and they tend to be in larger cities. Super sensitive celiacs should probably just avoid eating out.
