A friend just forwarded his to me today. I haven't been there yet so don't know prices or quality, but I plan to check it out soon.

You will have to change the dots to actual dots and take out the part in the middle if you are interested in it because the board keeps turning it into "lame advertisement" every time I try to post the address. That is so annoying. If anyone has any tips on how to make the web address appear correctly, I'd love to hear them. :(

unfortunately, there are only a few "approved" websites, that can be "allowed" in a post, so we can't share finds like these any other ways than the way you have done it.

I tried Haley's Corner Bakery in Kent on Saturday & thought the quality was very good. They had a lot of free samples to try. I really liked the Cranberry Scone & the Ginger cookies in the shape of a flower. I didn't pay much attention to the prices on the individual items because I was buying a lot but the total didn't seem out of line with any other bakery. I know they gave me several items half price because they were a day old.

I may try heading there for lunch tomorrow. ;) (I work in the area.) Perhaps I can drag a few coworkers with me too and we can have a cheese free pizza.

I went there with three friends from work, and we got two pizzas and I got a day-old focaccia. I got a veggie pizza (with roasted garlic instead of green peppers) with no cheese with one friend, and the other two got a sausage and cheese pizza. The tomato sauce on the pizza was *quite* good, and the crust, thin-style, was good as well. The others liked the pizza as well. (It does take ~15-20 minutes to make, so I advise calling ahead. ;) )

Glad you tried it and liked it, Tiffany. I think we are going to go there tomorrow to check it out.

I am determined to make the link work. I think if I use Tiny URL I will get around the board's URL protection. Let's see if this works. I should also mention that I have no financial interest in this company, just want to eat some gluten-free food I didn't have to cook once in a while. :)

I just made it out to Hayley's Corner yesterday. Wow, I was really happy to see the quality and reasonable prices. I tested the gingerbread cookie, multi-grain bread and cinnamon apple muffins and they were all good. I'm watching my carbs, so I didn't test anything else and I'm limited to dairy-free too. (They did have several gluten-free/CF items.) I bought a loaf of multi-grain bread (day old), a huge cookie, two muffins (large), a chocolate amaretto bar, a large piece of pound cake and a mini bundt "chocolate volcano" cake and the total was 13.95. My kids, niece and nephew, and hubby loved all of it and devoured everything in about 3 minutes flat after dinner.

If you're in the area it's worth a trip. They're closed on Sunday and Monday.

I made the trip out there but was terribly dissappointed. The sign says they open at 9:00, but it was 9:10 before the door was unlocked. There was nothing - no breads or anything. Just a couple of pies and a few containers of something. What are they selling exactly?

We went there last Saturday afternoon. We had take-and-bake pizza, chocolate chip and gingerbread cookies, a cinnamon bread and a cheese and vegetable bread. Everything was quite good. It is obvious that they are a new business and they have some kinks to work out. They were out of a few things when we were there, too. I think we need to give them some time to streamline things. It is important to remember that they are not professional bakers, but women who have decided to give a gluten-free bakery a go.

I hope you will decide to give them another chance.

My wife went down there this week and got me all kinds of good stuff. Apple cinnamon muffins, apple & coconut cream pie, lemon square, cheese bread, and veggie bread (tastes like pizza??, yum). They have the bread thing down! It is the best bread I have had since going gluten free. Unfortunately they were out of sandwich bread. It is a long trip so in the future we will call ahead but overall rating of thumbs up from me! :)

      I appreciate you validating me because medical is an issue and it's not ok at all they they do this. Some days I just want to call the news media and just call out these doctors especially when they are supposed to be specialist Downplaying when gluten-free when they should know gluten-free is false negative. Now dealing with other issues and still crickets...

      M&M Peanuts. About the same calories and sugar while M&M Peanuts have fiber, potassium, iron and protein that Tootsie Rolls ("We are currently producing more than 50 million Tootsie Rolls each day.") don't. Click the links to compare nutritional values. Both are made with sugar, not high fructose corn syrup. I use them as a gluten free substitute...

      I see it everyday on my feeds. They go out and buy gluten-free processed products and wonder why they can't heal their guts. I don't think they take it as a serious immune disease. They pick up things off the internet which is so far out in left field. Some days I would just like to scream. So much better when we had support groups and being able to teach...

Actively dealing with sibo and skin issues.Depression is the key because thats all they know, im depressed because medical has caused it because of my celiac and related issues. I should have never ever been employed as a bus driver.After 3 years still healing and ZERO income desperately trying to get better but no careteam for celiac other than stay away frim wheat! Now im having care because my head is affected either ms or meningioma in go in tomorrow again for more scans.I know im slowly dying and im looking like a disability chaser

While I get heartburn at night from commercial dairy milk, I do not from 'grassmilk'.

I just had an EMA blood test because I haven't had one since my Doctor moved away.  Got test results today, doctor ordered a D3 vitamin test.  Now you know what  type of doctors we have.  Now I will have to pay for this test because she just tested my D3 end of December, and still have no idea about my EMA.
