Pediatric Vitamins

Does anyone have a recommendation on what vitamin to give my 2 year old? Our dietician said she needs one with folic acid, iron, and thiamin. There are 2 that I saw online that are gluten-free but I don't know how they taste--Schiff and Freeda. If anyone has kids that like these (or any other gluten-free vitamin), let me know. It would be a big help! Thanks! Laura

I use the Shiff Children's chewable Vitamins for my son. I like the fact that you can give them one and don't have to cut them in half. Once they are 4 and older they can just eat 2.

He really likes them and he doesn't have an issue with them. He is alsmost 3yrs now and we started those about 4-5 months ago.

My daughter (3 today!) has the freeda vitamins and won't leave the house without one - she loves them!!! Would have the whole box if i let her (there's 250 in it :P )

We've used the Schiff for years, both kids think they're getting a treat! :)

My 2 1/2 year old loves the Lil' Critters Gummy Vites. They actually taste like gummy bears (my husband eats them too!) and are free of gluten, milk, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, soy & artificial crap. I buy them at BJs, but I'm sure Walmart or your grocery store would have them.

Thanks for starting this thread....I've had a heck of a time finding a vitamin with iron that my daughter will take. Most of the ones with iron have a bit of an aftertaste, and even I don't like them. I'll have to check out the Freeda vitamins next, thanks!

Thanks for the list too makes me realise why I still get symptoms after cutting gluten , all that reading has just made sense to why I'm still struggling , thankyou Scott Adams very insightful , I've been baking to and there is xanthum gum in the flour , I understand now why I still have issues with that too, and ive had to cut dairy also , i had a terrible flare few months ago and my throat also was very irritable and I had sinuses issues all makes sence 👍
