GREAT NEWS - I just confirmed with BARR Pharmaceuticals that the Birth Control Pill Seasonique is wheat and gluten free!!!!

I realize this thread is quite old, but does any one know if the Gluten Free status applies also to the Seaqsoniqu LO pill? I'm finding so many little trip wires when navigating the gluten-free jungle... I was only recently diagnosed and am still learning the ropes, so to speak. At 30 years old I had to learn how to live my whole life all over again, which I know every one of you can relate to. So I joined the board. I figure if anyone is going to get it, and understand why sometimes i am just angry, it will be you guys.

Welcome to the board. You have found a great place for info and support. As to the med the best way to check it to call the company directly. You can usually get contact info by putting the company name in a search engine with the words contact information. That should get you a phone number you can call.

      I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

      Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?

      Thankyou so much for your words.Its a hard battle when a supposed well known hospital whose celiac " specialist " has down played me because my colon looks fine and put it in my medical and so pcp doesn't take seriously. In their eyes we all carry that gene.Im having alot of bad days trying to be positive because of it.
