A few weeks ago my Mother and I went to an O'Charley's in Gatlinburg, TN. We told the hostess of our problems when she seated us and she preceded to get us a manager. He had a book full of lists and nutritional information on every item. It was great and the food was the best. My Mom ate so well and so did I.

Shortly after that, my Mother and Father ate at an O'Charley's in Woodstock, GA. They had some different items and my Mother had to order a different meal that she got in Gatlinburg. She said they were helpful and her meal was alright.

Interesting. I live in Woodstock. I never gave O'Charlies a second thought, since i grouped them with Applebees, Ruby Teusday's, etc. I always end up at the steakhouses.

I posted a similar message in another thread but last week in Bristol, VA the O'Charley's provided me with a printout that listed all menu items in rows with columns for major allergens including gluten. I had no problems with my meal.

As with any restaurant chain, they will have employees who do better or worse than other employees.

Piccolo, can you be more specific about the problem. Did you get glutened from something they said was gluten free or was the staff just not interested in helping?

Oh wow, there is actually an O'Charley's not far from me! We'll have to check it out!

      Thanks for your input.

If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly flareups.

No I haven't had one since 2021. I rarely have more than 1 per week.

Sorry, I see that now as I reread your original post. You say you have hemorrhoids "only once a week" now. When I develop hemorrhoids, which is once every few years now, it generally takes 3-4 days for healing to take place. So, it doesn't seem like you could have much relief time between episodes if you have them weekly. Have you had a lower GI scoping done recently?

Everyday I eat a medium to large apple in the morning and a large banana at night. I eat a cup of oatmeal in the evening. The ezekiel wheat bread I eat has a good amount of fiber. I haven't dealt with constipation for at least a year. Most of the time my feces are soft.
